Things to improve
Hello! I used this app for a short time to be able to communicate with my little sister. I do have to say it is a very safe app. But I believe there can be some improvements. I had to sign in every time I had to use the app and it made it really inconvenient as my sisters calls could not go though endless I was signed into the app. I would have no clue she was calling me as no notifications would pop up even though they were turned on. The signing in process also took a long time as a verification code would pop in at the five minute mark to enter. The phone calls themselves were very glitchy and low quality. No matter the service the screen would get stuck. On my end the buttons during the call always remained in the middle of the screen during face time which was very frustrating.

Garbage
ITS SO BADDDDD it keeps loging me out and itās making me really mad

I was in a call with my gf and one of her friends wanted to see me and when she showed her head the ai flagged it has nudity for no reason even tho we werenāt doing anything bad just calling because long distance relationships is hard enough as it is and now I canāt FaceTime her
Flagging every single photo
Any photo showing any skin is being flagged. Itās summertime and kids are wearing shorts and tanks and this app is flagging all of those photos even though they are innocent.
No Trust
Gabbās tech support is a worthless waste of time.

This app is horrible. I can be in the app and try to navigate to contacts and it immediately takes me to my App Store to the dang app Iām already in and have on my phone. Havenāt been able to update new contacts number because it keeps telling me that the number needs approval but there is nothing showing where or how to approve!!! I am the guardian of on the Gabb phone and App. Make it make sense!

Almost pointless
We went from the watch to the phone. Initially, I thought since thereās a 2nd app, Iāll have more control options. Boy was I wrong. The app is nearly pointless. It automatically signs me out throughout the day, so when my child makes video calls, the call fails until I sign in again. Iām disappointed with the lack of parental control that the app provides for the phone. With the watch app, I was able to lock it at bedtime. With this, I have to remember to take the phone at night so my kid isnāt using it after bedtime. Overall, thereās very little control for the parent and it will not connect to Google parental controls.

So many issues
We got gabb phone for our daughters first phone experience. It has been two years and the issues that have been from the beginning are still issues. Video calling is poor quality video with connection hit and miss. Flagged messages are ridiculous. We report that the flagged messages are not inappropriate and it doesnt matter. The phones battery life is horrible. We have about a month for the 2 year contract to end, and we say god riddance to Gabb and it's services or lack of services. I wanted this to be a good experience for us, but it's been more headache than helpful.

This app took me forever to call my friend and when it did work it only worked for like one day I keep deleting the app and then adding it again but it always says I am a parent
Doesnāt work
This app is garbage and doesnāt work. The parental controls on the phone 4 simply donāt work.
Contacts donāt sync
Donāt buy this product. It has been a nightmare to try to manage. The contacts I enter as approved, never sync to my daughterās phone, making the service useless. This has been a pervasive problem.
Disappointed
The product still feels like itās in permanent beta mode. The app is clunky and doesnāt work well. The parent manager area doesnāt sync your changes to the childās device.

Now me and my bestfriend can FaceTime (:

Pointless
I just got the Gabb phone for my daughter and the only safeguards they advertise that are working is the ability to choose the apps on the phone. Her device can add whomever she wants and the messages are not being screened. I did multiple test messages with cuss words and others that could be considered bullying and none were flagged and sent to me. Just allowed to go right it through.
The ai bot that I chatted with just talked in circles. Not helpful at all. We would try one fix that wouldnāt work. It would suggest another. And when that didnāt work it would suggest doing the first thing we tried.
I signed up with the contract so I am sure theyāll try to get all the money out of me by canceling early.
Might as well be a scam.

Just get an iPhone
My friend has a Gabb phone so I got this app and it SUCKS, I have been trying to log in it for 5 MONTHS and it doesnāt work unless if I put my dads number in it.And if I keep putting in my phone number it eventually kicks me out of this app.This app is just rage bait.Gabb if youāre reading this fix your gosh darn app

Phone number wonāt work
I canāt get the app to except my number, Iāve tried 30 different times. Iāve done it before and I was able to call my friend but now it doesnāt. Not very reliable use normal FaceTime and call.
