I have almost stopped going to Gail’s this app because of this app!
Keeps logging out
The app very often disconnects you on opening. This stops you from adding a little stamp to the loyalty card (people are in a hurry behind you waiting for the till so you can’t really take the time to log back in. Bad programming or manipulation so you don’t benefit points as much as you could. Either way it’s quite annoying.

Logged out with no way to get back in
To the devs: longtime user of this app but it has now logged me out, won’t accept my password and won’t send me a password reset link (yes I have checked spam). Basically I’m locked out. Annoying. Please sort.
New customer
I was asked today if I had the app and when I said no, the ins and outs were explained, including the welcome drink being mentioned. Downloading was easy enough, but I am not receiving a code to verify my account, so I can’t start using the app or loyalty program.

One of the worst app
Very disappointing online shopping experience. I tried to add the birthday gift promotion, but kept getting an error saying my basket did not contain the required products, with no clear explanation of what was missing.
It’s also frustrating that browsing other pages can delete the basket. Customers should be able to keep shopping without losing their items. The website really needs improvement.

Best place for coffee and eats I’ve found so far
Disappointing loyalty scheme
I have collected enough stamps with hopes of simply getting a croissant, but I can only use it on a drink or a loaf of bread. What am I supposed to do If I don’t like sourdough or coffee, and any other drink in general feels hardly worth the build up of points.
Erratic application of loyalty stamps
Don’t know how much by design or poor execution - but I regularly don’t get the loyalty stamps, and I I do then if I buy 2 coffees I only get one stamp

Gail’s is a bakery. It’s Good Friday. They’re open at 7am. Then why no Hot X Buns until 9am?

I like this app. Easy to set up and clear design. What is annoying is the marketing that’s followed. Please have a word with your marketing teams regarding this experience. Since using it yesterday I’ve had 5 emails this morning.
I also could’ve used an offer yesterday but I don’t check before using. When asked if I have the app it would be really helpful if it’s acknowledged I have a welcome drink. I was disappointed after sitting down I’d missed out on that.

This is my all-time favourite sourdough bread. The texture, flavour, mix of seeds and bake is always perfect every time

Insane! The ozzzy delicious ham and cheese croissant followed by the chocolate and pistachio pastry - Monday lunchtime treat shared with Mum 💕

Seeded sourdough loaf
We really like the seeded sourdough loaf but since we started buying it a couple of years ago, it has got smaller and smaller and the price has gone up and up (and it’s not even organic!) The ‘loaf’ is getting closer to being a small boule rather than a loaf and it doesn’t last a family long at all which is disappointing
