Horrid App
The app is way too laggy and closes on random occasions
Glitches Galore
The app never functions properly. Constantly kicks me out & I’ll have to log back in. Sometimes it won’t even recognize my email and password. Other times it won’t even allow me to put things in my cart. Honestly just fed up with the inconsistency.
Forced to update my phone to update the app
Title speaks for itself. My phone version isn’t even that old…
Don't use this app.
I bought a control a month ago and it never arrived. I made the claim they answered me with an email saying that they are investigating... the following week I called and they didn't give me an answer I didn't get a refund nor did they give me an answer about what had happened with my purchase
Great app, BUT...
I had the GameStop app downloaded and was able to order off of it with ease.
A day or so after my order, I went to launch the app which loaded and stated to “Upgrade” the app.
Clicked “upgrade” and was taken to the App Store which then the download started but stopped with about 60% remaining until the upgrade was complete. Stopped and restarted about 5 different times with still NO Upgrade completion.
I deleted the app and tried to redownload it, and the download install STILL STOPS at about 60% and will not resume.
All of this was done on and off Wi-Fi to try the download either way.
Would be nice if this was fixed because honestly the App revamp was looking and operating pretty smooth and enjoyable.

Very frustrating and deceptive app.
And trying to order a a game, somehow the order turned into a digital version of the game. After making sure that I click for a physical copy somehow I was still sent a digital one which are not refundable. Double check, and triple check that your orders are correct. I absolutely hate digital purchases for this reason.

Goodbye GameStop
Cancelling my membership because the sole reason I had one was to submit cards a little cheaper. Now instead of being a little cheaper they are $80 along with PSA. The cards they sell are almost worse than scalpers. And the “discounts members get are scraps worth nothing. Genuinely disgusting. You all should be ashamed. You should have went bankrupt the first time. I hope you all go under again and don’t come back this time. Love your employees though.

Terrible
Won’t send the activation code to my email, but I get weekly email adds and notifications. Was told I couldn’t get my five dollar monthly rewards unless I use the app. Goodbye to me stopping in GameStop once a month
Only works now for iOS 26+
Stupidly forced not to use the app because my phone doesn’t support iOS 26 or higher. Just another reason not to used their products anymore
GameStop app needs updates
This app needs better sign in options, it needs to be able to show options when you click on something you want to select, it also need to be able to save personal information, and finally it needs security it needs to detect when someone breaks into your account. That’s all for now, in theory this should make the app better.

Terrible, closing all my accounts
I pre ordered ncaa football. They immediately provided a tracking number… it’s sat for weeks saying that it has yet to be shipped. I then tried to get ahold of GameStop. The people just said the exact same things to give me the run around. I tried emailing, I get a response 4 days later only because I then emailed a few times. My response was to wait until a month was up because that’s the allowable timeframe. Not cool. I’ve been with GameStop for 25 to 30 years and I’m done. Read the reviews on google. Same thing everyone is not receiving orders and then customers service won’t refund you or actually ship the item.sad to see GameStop going down the drain. So don’t order from somewhere who does not provide help to issues they caused.

GameStop relisted my card for more after 4 days of not shipping. My card was 14 and change with shipping and all discounts and the relist is 26 and change plus shipping because they won’t refund my rewards. Scammy GameStop need to be honest and stop scalping.
Shirts never closed
Great app for GameStop customers. It’s similar to eBay. It’s on the website. Half cash, half stock.

Forced to use bad app to redeem rewards
Cashiers use to be able to redeem your monthly pro member credit and all your points at the register. Now you’re forced to redeem thru the app. The app doesn’t load well with an excellent connection and it definitely won’t load inside of a GameStop store. Points can only be redeemed in intervals and they removed the $5 option. Points and monthly credit can no longer be used on the same transaction.
GameStop continues to reduce pro membership benefits, makes it difficult to use the ones that are left, have a poor app, poor customer service and are the worse TCG scalpers around. Not only am I not renewing my membership, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

App will not update
App keeps telling me to update but it doesn’t want to update just keeps saying OPEN app and can not update so now the app is useless
Great Variety of Products, But The App….?
I love that there is an app for GameStop. There is a huge variety of stock for whatever it is that is needed. That being said, the games have preview videos and photos. These videos and photos don’t open in full screen or at all. That’s the only gripe I have.
