GenE has streamlined this process by rounding up your everyday transactions to the nearest dollar and placing the change into your own personal donation fund. Each month, you can choose from a wide selection of vetted environmental organizations to support.
The sign up process was incredibly easy to set up. The app is beautiful and easy to navigate. I love the fun bright look, and especially seeing my friends involved through the community page. Helping our planet through micro-donations has never been easier!

Great Environmental Philanthropy Solution
So many organizations to choose from that have been thoroughly vetted. I like that I can see the $ amount I have contributed so I can track my impact. I also like that I have the optionality to choose between % of each purchase vs rounding up the change. Very user friendly interface too!!

I tell everyone the best way to describe Gen E is it being the climate baby of Acorns and Venmo. As someone who’s active in the sustainability space, I understand that not everyone is as eager to take on the streets and protest or write letters to government officials. Gen E literally takes the guess work out of the equation and provides an effective pathway for me to take climate action without making “personal sacrifices”. Plus I love how I have so much oversight over the non-profits I’m donating to- all packaged within a beautifully designed app!! 11/10- highly recommend!
