Best scheduler ever! Unfortunate Booksy buy out killed this app
I loved Genbook! Unfortunately I got pushed over to Booksy that frankly is terrible to work with and lost many features I need. I use to schedule clients via my web book now button without clients having to download and create an account just to book an appointment with me. I lost my Google calendar integration so I could combine many calendars and still see my business appointments and get reminders on each. Booksy doesn’t have the simple features and frankly I don’t need their difficult app. I lost several clients due to the difficulty scheduling appointments with me when I couldn’t do it myself for the client. I’m a single person owner and depend on clients easy access to schedule their appointment with me when I’m busy with other clients.

I miss Genbook!
They were acquired by Booksy and it just does not compare. Genbook was a wonderful platform, incredibly user friendly & straight forward for myself and all my clients. Loved the waitlist option, kept me busy and clients happy. Loved that I could see my buffer time in between appointments. Booksy does not make this “padding time” visually accessible, so booking clients when looking at my calendar is super challenging.
Loved that Genbook didn’t advertise other businesses in the area to my clients… And how could I forget how attentive and helpful the support was from Genbook!!! I miss them and the software.

Easy learning curve
I’m so glad I had this appointment manager in place once I was able to reopen after Covid 19 lockdown in CA. I was able to scale up rapidly, meet the surge in demand of a population stressed and starved for touch after months of “social distancing. Genbook proved an easy way to communicate with my clients on the safety steps I am taking in response to the Pandemic so they can feel safe. Also personally I was able to restore my income rapidly enough this year to qualify for and close a re-fi loan, yay! This app allows me to focus on what I do best, excellent bodywork and client care.

I have been with Genbook for 3 years. I love the way they better themselves. I can’t wait to be able to sell my product on the app. I like my team when I need help. Great customer service.
These people don’t understand how a Scheduling works
I was really hoping that this would be a good ap. It’s not. You can’t include a customer address in a confirmation email and if you call with questions, they will lie to you and say the ap does things it doesn’t. They will say yes to anything which just wastes your time when you learn later it doesn’t do what you asked about.
Don’t waste your time, these guys don’t know what they are doing and will lie and waste your time.

Doesn’t accept password. Stay away from company.
App is terrible. I run a chiropractic and physical therapy clinic and keeps logging me out on the app. Won’t take my passwords and works just fine on desktop browser. Also genbooks about once a month will just shut down thus stalling the ability for my clinic to grow. Seems like they do a high amount of maintenance so stay away from this company.

Recommend this app to any one in the cosmetology or barbering industry. Continuously updating and getting better to serve our industry need. Once I’ve told my clients how to book i know I won’t have explain anything else because of how simple it is for customers.

New update is awful
Until the most recent update Genbook Manager was great. Now it moves incredibly slow and crashes while you wait for it about 30% of the time.
Calendar Not Syncing
Calendar is not working properly. Cannot view bookings. Can only see them in Inbox. Whenever I reload the calendar it says “something went wrong” and doesn’t load.
