Sigh. Doesn’t work.
Just tried opening it to report yet another homeless encampment and I got a server error on their end. I guess it doesn’t like the new iPhone17?
New version, easier to use
The latest version requires fewer screens to make reports and is easier to use. Looks and feels more modern. Some issues resolved right away while others take some time (unfortunately).
Get nothing done
This app is a pacifier to make the powerless feel like they’ve done something about an issue. Your reports will sit for months. One of mine sat for a literal year.
Terrible Update
Today’s updates make the usability much worse. Very difficult to find functions. Many sections are either not labeled or are difficult to find.

Don’t Get it Done
While the App has its relevance, the actual follow through by the City of San Diego is abismal. Several times I’ve submitted requests just to be ignored. Two recent requests still haven’t been resolved after 7 months for one and 2 months for another. Let alone a request for motorhomes in residential areas. This program is terrible!!!!

It works, but slow & ineffective
It works, but slow & ineffective. The worst part of it is that the Staff does NOT even “get it done” or quickly fix most of the VERY DANGEROUS problems on City streets & sidewalks that are reported !!!! So, like a bad biz or government Office, they ask “customers” to report bad stuff, but don’t fix the bad stuff. Kinda like a PR stunt or big biz tactic to talk loud but do little…

No option to delete report, waste of city’s time and resources
Users need to be able to delete reports if they resolve on their own. The wait time for parking issues is always very long, and often the car will move before the city gets to it. The wait is so long because the city will go check on the report and not find the car. Save all of our time and let us delete reports, or mark them as resolved.

Unconstitutional
This app should be taken to court people are getting tickets with in 5 min of parking in their own ally after unloading their cars into their houses are people’s cars are being taken pictures of for everyone to see with personal information such as vin numbers and plate numbers
Ridiculous
I have reported with this app 18 times about a problem with a food vendor not having a trash receptacle and I pick up their garbage every day!!! It’s absolutely ridiculous that they refuse to get a trash can we are 3 blocks from the ocean and they throw their cups and straws and wrappers all over the sidewalk and it drains right to the ocean and blows right inside my store the city and the store refuse to put a trash can out!!!

Sometimes, you get decent turn around, and for many others you simply don’t… It can be like yelling into the void.
This app is a joke
People use our street for longterm airport parking. They park and then call an uber. The city took 6 months to drive by and close out the report stating that the car was no longer there…awesome thanks
City of SD Needs to Respond Quicker
While the Get it Done San Diego app is great to report things like parking violations, graffiti and potholes the City of San Diego does a piss poor job of responding in a timely fashion to the reports.
The city doesn’t really do much
Just wondering how more pedestrians need to get run over by cars for the city to do something about pedestrian safety in this city.
Terrible app!
I have used this app for multiple occasions and the response time is incredibly slow or it just doesn’t get done at all. I never felt so ignored until I started to use get it done San Diego. It took them like 4 months to response to a small incident
App was made worse with latest update
This app used to work great, but now they did an update which now just takes you to the website and then you have to enter all of your information for your house name, phone number and email address each time you submit a report. On the prior update of the app, you did not have to do that every time. A fix needs to be made!! This is a time waster!

Out of area?
Tried to get a street light fixed and report it hasn’t been working for years. At least 4+ years. It’s in national city which is 8 mins from downtown and I’m told it’s out of area? So what good is this app even for.
Sidewalk repair
On Friday, I sent in photos and an explanation of the badly broken sidewalk on Weston Hill that was a very dangerous tripping hazard. Three days later, the sidewalk was repaired and most of the area was cleaned of litter. Now it is very safe to walk there and I am very impressed that the city did this so quickly and so well.

Laughable
This is comically worthless and a fine example of the City’s never ending incompetence.
They will not do the required work. They will not solve the problem. But they will send you a triumphant email advising that your issue has been resolved and the case is closed.
That’s one way to report good numbers to your superiors, huh?
We are all familiar with reputation of City workers. Every ounce of that reputation is earned.
Update: I’ve tried it a few more times. Same result. Do nothing. Close the case. Report the problem as solved. Your city in ACTION.
