Horribly designed app
Whoever is in charge of this app clearly doesn’t have any clue how to run it efficiently
The deals are not ever up to date.the app is always a mess if I select the previous purchase option and nothing I purchase is on there what’s the point of having it also some products in the store they don’t have online at all for example if I want a bunch of banana’s (6) I have to put in 6 individual items of that in my cart if I want a buy 1 get 1 it doesn’t show up as that instead it shows up as it being discounted

Not after the update
The latest update messed up my app. I can not log in, had to uninstall and reinstall and it still won’t let me log in.
I can’t even get to the page to enter my user name and password.

Not able to add to Apple wallet
I love this app as one it is easy to use and I am also a Giant Eagle team member. I had my perks card linked to my Apple wallet and deleted by accident. I tried to go in the app to add to wallet and that option isn’t there anymore. It says add to wallet but the button isn’t there. I tried to go through safari and add it didn’t work. and also tried deleting the app still not there. Please fix this as I use my perks card everyday and it would be easier to just have in my Apple wallet

Digital Loyalty Card doesn’t Work in Wallet
App is about as pedestrian as it can get. A bit disappointing that there are references to downloading my Advantage Card to my Wallet app, but no button that actually does it. Digital card is only available in the app which is a pain when you have to open the app and the drill down to get my card to appear.

You already know that your price gouging us do I even need to say it?! you offer some deals of course that you have the most expensive group trees in the freaking state except for maybe Trader Joe’s. It’s gross, do better.
NO STORE MAPS
Why don't you provide a map of the store depts/aisles??? Place it right on the front of the app when you select a location. I need to find a product but have no idea where the dept is in the store. So I'm going elsewhere.

Variety
The store needs more organic options. In the past few months both organic butter & organic apple juice are no longer available. If the options keep dwindling, I will shop somewhere else.
I had to lower my rating
With the most recent update you took away the shopping list or changed it. I liked the shopping list before. The new one seems more confusing. I liked being able to make a list , add to it quickly and easy no matter where I was, no matter what I was doing. New and improved is not always a good thing.
I still have not seem an item locator link based on what store I am shopping. Home Depot and Lowe’s both have it on their apps. For the most part they are pretty accurate. I am pretty familiar with my local store, knowing which aisle I need for which item. It would help in the neighboring stores. No matter how hard they try, the stores are not laid out the same.

Does not stay signed into account. Signing in is a miserable experience as repeated “too many requests” errors occur. Must keep refreshing until it finally processes your login. However, it will repeat this at every step of you doing something with your account. Horrendous experience. Would not recommend (unless they fix).

Since I’ve updated the app I can’t even login. It signed me out!! It’s always something with this app!
Too expensive, short supply of sale items
Never thought I’d see the day that Giant Eagle was more expensive than the local Heinen’s. But, that’s corporate America for you. Greedy executives. Nice job having a two day supply of your sale items.
Adding items to existing order is a pain
Could not add items without having to refinish my entire order, I had to put in my card details and select a new time slot anytime I wanted to add something. (I was still in the adding window.) This isn't an issue on instacart's own app, or kroger's app, so I won't be using giant eagle's anymore. QoL oversight failure. I also think reviews would be nice on items. I also ran into an issue where a food I order a lot had 0 pictures, like it just didn't load. Overall I really did not like my experience using the app. The food selection itself is pretty awesome, which adds a star.

App signed me out and I am unable to open link to resign in. This has happened since the update a week ago. Please fix.
