Unacceptable
I delivered for PPU about one year. On a rainy night the application asked for my identity. I pulled over to do as requested. The application blocked me because it couldn’t identify who I was. For 6 months now I have tried to get the issue resolved with no resolution. PPU does not answer my email. PPU is rude and disrespectful to its drivers.

Point pickup disappeared, sold out sometime around fall of 2023. I suppose it’s why GigPoint just spins instead of loading. No heads up, just poof💨 ….thanks for the warning point pickup 👍🏼🤦♀️

The app does not work right I’ve applied for gigs and the notifications does not show up it shows in the notification panel blank notifications I said I have a new notifications but it does not show I’ve updated the app multiple times and it has my phone number in accurate and I’ve also emailed point pick up and gig point over the issue because I’ve applied for jobs and there’s notifications but I cannot see them because it won’t open there’s a issue with the app major

Confusing and needs to be fixed
Not excepting point pickup drivers in my area. PPU app recommends downloading the GigPoint app. Gig Point app prompts to login with Point Pickup credentials. Then I get a message that “Before being able to use GigPoint account, you need to be an active driver in Point Pickup.” I’m looking for other gigs, not just driving!

None of the listings on my app are actual “gig work”. It’s all permanent full and part time positions with terrible rates of pay. Also a good bit of these 5 star reviews sound fake.

Needs some work
The GigPoint app was working well before the last update now whenever you sign in it just takes you to a survey when it used to take you to your points and show you how many deliveries you have. I wonder how long until they get this fixed?

Not hiring in my area
So it says it’s not hiring in my area which I live in Knoxville Tennessee which is a very large area and I also work at Walmart and I deal with these point pick up drivers every day and they say they need drivers but yeah I’m not getting the option to work for them. I don’t understand this how such a big area that has a lot of business for them would not be hiring my rating will change more then likely if I could get thru to them and be part of the team

GigPoint is great!
Loving it! Can be a little clunky here and there but it’s so new yet! Love the concept and what it will become! One downside was towards the beginning…I started a Point Trust account and earned 100 points for opening an account. Then a month or two later they added another 100 points, the app glitched or something. Then they took away 200, so the original 100 points I had earned were also taken away in the process of trying to correct it. This is a slight bummer. If this were corrected, I would change to five stars! Everything else is awesome if you also love to drive for Point PickUp. But as I saw someone else on here say, it is what you make it.
Edit: the above was never corrected. GigPoint also sent out a message recently saying drivers would no longer receive points just for completing an order. We now only receive points on weekend orders, basically. The whole point of this app was, I thought; to fill in a gap where gig workers are not reimbursed enough for their work. Offer other items to us through a points system, as well as banking, and benefits. I was mostly here for the points and now they have cut those back, so a bit disappointing to say the least.

User Friendly Concerns
I applied and received a message they weren’t hiring in my home area. Which is understandable considering I live in a small town. However, there are two larger communities of 100,000 to me east and west. I have tried unsuccessfully to edit my delivery areas but keep getting kicked back to the same not hiring messages before I can edit.
