App is not working anymore. I’m not able to even sign in
I’m not sure what happened the camera was fine for about a year and then it’s completely not working. It logged me out of my account. I’ve tried signing into my old account and the forgot password feature doesn’t work. I made a new account and it won’t fully connect. It’s connecting fine to my WiFi but then not going through. I tried the troubleshooting steps which is basically the typical “looping” of there’s something wrong with your equipment not ours. There’s nothing wrong with my WiFi or phone it’s definitely an issue on this app! I’m about to just go buy another Tapo if they can’t fix it. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues. Customer support is usually friendly so hoping they can get back to me and fix this. I don’t want to have to make multiple email accounts to try to “log in”. Seems very odd.

Works well
I actually really like this camera, it works well. However, I have 4 dislikes.
1. I don’t like that the recording is not looped.
2. I don’t like that it does not have the option to delete multiple videos at once. I have several recordings that are unnecessary and i have to constantly delete them one at a time. I only want to save what i want not everything. Plus, I don’t want my storage to fill up fast.
Then it also takes screenshots in the cloud section even though i have no cloud account for the camera. It should give the option to stop that, since i am using an SD card instead. I did not know it would require you to pay to use the cloud. I don’t know if this is storing these screenshots in the SD card or not but i also have to go and delete these individually.
Find something else that’s strange, if i delete the screenshots from cloud, it slay deletes the video from the SD card, that defeats the purpose of having the SD when they shouldn’t be connected.
3. It seems to lag whenever i go to the live section. I have great connection, i know that’s not the issue.

Had my cameras for a year
I have three Girafit cameras for a year now. Everything has been running great until today. I was booted out of the app and can’t log back in. Keep getting a timeout error when trying to change my password. I’ve tried everything the web troubleshooting FAQs recommend and still no change. I’ve emailed customer support; hopefully they will be helpful. Cameras are useless without the app.

Garbage
You buy these things, and they keep logging out. And if it’s been a while, you forget your password. And then when you try to log back in their system keeps glitching and will not allow you to log back in. They have no customer service. These things are a complete rip off. Do not waste your money on these. They don’t work and they glitch constantly. Definitely don’t buy them off a. TT SHOP. You’ve been warned. Somebody needs to get a class action lawsuit against this company. File complaints with the federal trade commission. Also file complaint with Apple to have them removed for ripping people.

Seems to lack lately
I own this camera for quite a while, and while it was reliable at first it started lacking reliability. E.g.: I see in the miniature image in the app a car in front of my house, when I click on playback there is no car. I check the mini view before and after, nothing. Where did that car go?
