They penalize you if you don’t use their payout system by holding your funds for 5 days. So if you accept other forms of payment (cash,Zelle, cashapp, or any other payment method outside of them) they will hold your funds for 5 days. They don’t care if you need to feed your family or pay your bills, sickening. Remember this is the money you’ve just worked hard for! Also, no live agents to speak with only robots. Definitely canceling my subscription.

Great App, But the Calendar Integration Needs Improvement
Overall, I really like GlossGenius and many of the features it offers for managing my business. My biggest frustration is the calendar integration.
My calendars constantly seem to lose their connection with GlossGenius, and not all of my outside events are consistently recognized. I really wish the calendar worked more like Acuity Scheduling, where events from calendars such as my iPhone/Apple Calendar and Google Calendar could automatically be read and used to block my availability.
Right now, if I add a personal appointment, family event, or other commitment to my regular calendar, I also have to remember to go into GlossGenius and manually block that same time. This creates unnecessary double work and increases the chance of accidentally being double-booked.
I would love to see a more reliable two-way calendar integration where GlossGenius continuously recognizes events from connected calendars and automatically blocks those times from client booking availability.
I really enjoy using GlossGenius overall, but improving the calendar syncing and automatic availability blocking would make a huge difference for business owners who manage multiple calendars.

So slow.
I like the metrics laid out in the app, as well as marketing assistance. However, the app keeps getting slower and slower. I can’t run a business with an app that doesn’t open. About to switch.
App already down during my free trial
I was honestly really liking the app format and was thinking about switching over, but in less than 3 days since starting my free trial, the app and entire website is already down and showing up on GG’s incident reporting page and seems to be down for a ton of other people too. I’ve been with multiple other platforms over the years and honestly never experienced the app and website being down at the same time. Not a good look. If it happened 3 days of me trying, is it going to be an every month occurrence?

Outage after outage
Literally trash, iv had this booking site for 1 year an I have experienced so many times where the app won’t open , mid working day, can’t check out my clients because it won’t load, glitches, I’m so ready to cancel an find another booking site this is absolutely ridiculous, my site won’t even come up on web when clients try to book sometimes because of this , my entire site is down right now an no one can book due to something going on on their end ! Why am I paying so much for something my clients can’t even book me through sometimes !!! Costing me client bookings !
