So slow. Careful to pay for the year in advance
The app doesn’t work as should. Waiting with clients while it load some feature to charge the client!!
Not as disappointing as I thought….
I originally left a much more negative review because I misunderstood the default notification timing on the Standard plan. I thought both the confirmation and reminder were being sent within the same 24-hour period, which made no sense to me for a service business with a 24-hour cancellation policy.
I believe part of my initial confusion came from the notification customization screen, which prominently displays the 24-hour timing option, so I assumed that was the default timing on Standard.
I later realized that Standard actually sends the confirmation 72 hours before the appointment and the reminder 24 hours before. That is much more reasonable and definitely changed how I felt about the platform overall.
That said, just in my opinion and in my experience as a solo business owner, I still think it’s frustrating that the ability to customize confirmation and reminder timing is locked behind the Gold plan. I chose Standard because it fits both my business needs and my budget, and I simply do not need most of the Gold features.
Even if full customization remains a Gold feature, I think Standard users should at least have a few basic timing options to choose from. In my business and many others’ - appointment reminders directly affect cancellations, no-shows, and client communication, so I personally view notification timing as more of a core scheduling function than a premium extra.

Asset
This app is an asset! It is extremely easy to use and has everything you need to run a successful business all in one place. I definitely recommend! And customer support is excellent.
The WORST
Cost me so much thousands to repair the damage their payroll team messed up and in repaying taxes because they didn’t file them properly!!
Issues
Every time I have an issue they don’t answer support. They leave me waiting for hours and hours then when I finally click to have them call me back they don’t. Use square instead it’s the same thing but with no problems and actual people who answer the phone if assistance is needed.
App glitches a lot
I love this booking system. However, the app goes down a lot. I run a team of 16 stylists, it’s so freaking frustrating that we cannot check out clients or even see our calendar when this happens, and it takes hours to resolve. They need to lean more into actual developers instead of AI to work on this.

Thinking about switching to a new platform
This app crashes entirely too much. I literally couldn’t process my clients payment due to the app crashing consistently

I love the updates and the easy access that it gives me and my clients. The only thing that I would love even more is that with paying a subscription you are able to add the card reader to your monthly subscription payment until it’s paid off instead of using a whole different card reader service.
Better then the rest
I thought this would be a basic booking platform, but it’s way beyond that. 1st time salon suite business owner, this platform is changing the game for beauty professionals. Heard about it from my son’s girlfriend that does nails. Turns out I use more features than she knew it had. Being able to take credit card with a transparent rate and checking clients out has been so simple. There’s a lot of wonderful features and the price options work for me. Oh and best of all it comes with a website for your business that I didn’t have or the know how to create. I little tweaking on the website to make it more personal and it was perfect. Already had a client easily book on my website! Absolutely wowed and love!

Keep updating the layouts
Switched to gloss genus not too long ago and loved the way it was set up but with the new update I’m disappointed. Not a fan of the new home layout. I liked when the daily revenue was at the top and weekly goal was first on the Home Screen it was motivating but now it’s more hidden and replaced with more advertising for add on features and refer a friend. I don’t like how it highlights the refer a friend and features more than any client and business info

Stop changing the app
I swear they update and change where things are and what they look like once a week.
Don’t
once you reach a certain amount of money in your balance they will hold it and send you a email asking for a live ID photo once submitted they will close your account the next day and it’s not just me please look them up first

THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NEVER GIVE IT BACK AND THEY NEVER LET YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WITH THEM THEY ARE MONEY STEALERS AND WHEN YOU PAY EVERY MONTH THEY STILL LIE AND SAY THEY DIDNT GET THERE PAY TO GET MORE MONEY
