About

You're tired. You meant to go to bed. Somehow, it's 1 AM and you're still scrolling. GoBed helps you put your phone down when it's time to rest. Choose the apps that keep you scrolling, set your schedule, and GoBed blocks them until your rest period ends. Set up a bedtime routine, an afternoon nap, or both. LET SOMEONE YOU TRUST HOLD THE KEY Ask a partner, friend, or roommate to keep your unlock key. While they hold it, you can't change your plan within GoBed. During a scheduled block, you'll need them to give you a key to unlock early through the app. NEED A FEW MINUTES? Your key keeper can return your main key or give you just 5 or 10 minutes. When that time runs out, your chosen apps are blocked again. Your main key stays with them. MAKE ROOM FOR BEDTIME AND NAPS Set separate start times, end times, and repeat days for nighttime sleep and naps. Block your apps from 11:30 PM to 7 AM, for example, and again from 1 PM to 1:30 PM. Turn naps off whenever you like without losing your settings. THREE WAYS TO STICK TO YOUR PLAN • Two Chances: up to two timing challenges per sleep period. Pass the first for 10 minutes, or the harder second challenge for 5. • Strict Lock: your chosen apps stay blocked until the period ends, with no early unlock within GoBed. • Key Custody: let someone you trust hold the key and decide whether to grant early access. EXCHANGE KEYS NEARBY OR REMOTELY Bring two compatible iPhones close together to exchange a key, or send an invitation when you're apart. Holding your key doesn't give the other person access to your messages or browsing content. REQUIREMENTS App blocking requires Screen Time permission. Both people need GoBed installed for key custody. Nearby exchanges require compatible devices and the relevant permissions. Remote exchanges require both people to be signed in to iCloud and connected to the internet. App restrictions depend on system authorization.

Make time for an afternoon nap, too. • New nap schedules: choose a start time, end time, and repeat days. Selected apps are blocked automatically and become available again when your nap period ends. • Naps use your chosen control mode: Two Chances, Strict Lock, or Key Custody. • A new two-card layout: swipe between nighttime and nap settings, with each schedule's times and repeat days together on its own card. • Edit nap settings even when naps are turned off. Your schedule is kept for next time.
