Clunky on iOS
Can’t do things like crop your picture. It has the function but doesn’t save. Editing the profile has this flaw in general. Overall garbage.
iOS 16 no longer working
I’m not upgrading my phone. They’re too expensive. Can you make the app’s older version not downloadable on iOS 16 if the app is not gonna work?
Disappointing
Well, I just updated the app as I was prompted too, and now I can’t send thank you to my donors. This has been an on and off issue since I started using the platform and it’s incredibly frustrating.

Helping me with cancer treatments
GoFundMe has been an invaluable tool to raise money amongst all my friends on social media and appeal to them to donate some money to help me pay to offset some of the expenses for my cancer treatment. Within two or three months I raised about $6500.
It does however require giving something in return. You have to write updates you have to post you have to talk to people Continually find ways to engage your audience. It doesn’t just happen by itself.

Fire Departments “Just Don’t”
As a first responder department dealing with fire damage to our own station, I strongly recommend looking for an alternative fundraising platform instead of GoFundMe. Getting approval for our campaign has been extremely problematic and frustrating. We simply wanted to raise funds to help recover from the damage, and the obstacles we’ve faced have been very disappointing.

This app is so useful. Helped me manage my campaign with so much ease.
So bad..
I wouldn't really recommend this app if you want to avoid having your account blocked. We set up a fundraiser in my husband's name to collect money for his parents after his brother recently died in a car accident. We managed to raise $1,500 overnight, but by morning, our account had been blocked. When we contacted technical support, we were told it was a mistake. So, if you don't want to deal with a situation like this, I don't recommend it.
