App Frozen
I’ve called school, emailed GoGuardian (no response) and worked with Apple support, did every single troubleshooting option and the app is still frozen! This is ridiculous. Do you guys have any tech support where I can talk to a human? Have 2 kids in school. No idea why your app is frozen even after deleting, uninstalling and reinstalling and updating iOS 26. Please fix this!

This app is terrible. Happy district is providing an option but this thing doesn’t work and over the summer I started having to log in and register via email every single time I needed to log in. First time logging in in a while and the dang thing won’t even send me an email now. Useless piece of garbage!!!!

why even have a pin if you can never use it? frustrating interface and rudimentary approach to filtering.
Good but annoying log in
It’s a great tool and I’m glad my district has this option for us. I do find it annoying that you have to log in every time. This changed about 5-6 weeks ago. Having multiple kids on different schedules I am having to log in a lot to adjust timers based on homework flow. Wish that if Face ID is on, that I would not have to enter email and then wait for email verification with a pin. Very much a hassle.

Bad update
App was “updated” April 2, 2025 and now it won’t open. I deleted and reinstalled and still nothing. It just won’t open. So now it’s useless...
Pointless
It’s hard to know whose at fault because I can’t get a response from GoGuardian, & the county tech Ed dept has been supposedly been working on a case w/ GoGuardian for two school years now. While I’m at work, my teenager has unlimited, unfiltered access to the internet. The county tech Ed dept claims it’s GoGuardian issue, & I can’t get help from GoGuardian so I have no idea what’s causing this. Now every time I try to open the app to see if it’s been fixed by some miracle, I have to confirm the email address every single time which requires additional steps in an already frustrating drawn-out situation. The lack of support & this non-functional app has caused a significant amount of unnecessary stress. Should my teenager be more disciplined, of course! But he was 12 when the unrestricted iPad was given to him, & he’s now developed horrible habits that I’m trying to break while having ZERO insight into what he’s doing while I’m working. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!

Needs improvement
This is a great appl to be sure your child is staying on task. However, the school allows access to YouTube to watch certain educational videos. However, there is way of knowing what exactly they are watching, only that it’s YouTube. There needs to be a better filter on this.

Malware
My school computer is the only thing making me sane when I’m grounded but on my parents phone it glitched it out and now their phone won’t turn on. They have the brand new iPhone 16 that that should not have happened. Turns out there is malware all over it to spry on your phone.

To the teachers and students
This app not only my students don’t like it, but it also has hardware problems like it slows down the computer making the Chromebook completely unusable because they cheap out on computers. They would be super good if they didn’t have go guardian and the fact that’s a requirement is insane. The fact that they can seek every aspect of it just disgusting. Also to meggymeg I saw your little comment. And I understand why you want this and why the students want it but it’s not only that it’s spyware, but it also slows down the computer and eats up all the resources. Making it impossible for students to even do their work. Thank you for understanding.

My opinion! (my opinion is a 2.5 out of 20)
To start off, a complete invasion of my privacy, and honestly creepy. I would give it one star but it does have its pluses for teachers, but as a student I don’t like it.
