Unable to book through app
The App has an error if booking internationally, you have to enter your international code and phone number to receive a verification code to allow you to book, issue is the “send sms” button is not actually coded, you can never receive the text and complete a booking, only way to book is through the actual website and you lose all “App only” promo codes

Worst app and website ever built
How do they even make money? It’s impossible to pay on the website and impossible to book on the app. It asks for a phone number then never sends an SMS nor displays a field for you to type a verification code. Amateur web design and app design at best. Wasted my evening on this.
Not very efficient
App is fairly trash & doesn’t inspire confidence. Logging in hardly works, just spins about & the website isn’t any better.
Why the app doesn’t open?
I haven’t been trying to open this app for a week but I can not open it. All the screen is white without response. I can’t get any new version either. Is this working?
Loosing the will
I use goldcar a lot but recently the app is disappointing. It is impossible to log in so have to book cars as guest so loosing points and discounts. Login tells me email and password incorrect but they manage to send me advertisements to my email address.

Good but needs improvement
Overall easy to use, and a good improvement on previous. I would prefer to see the levels of insurance and minimum payment when making the booking. Also, why doesn’t the system pickup the credit card number from the phone like most other apps? Cheers

Appears to have stopped working since iOS 18 update.

This app seems to have stopped working. I can log onto my account with a web browser, but I can never login to the app. What is happening with it, Goldcar?
This app is a joke
Sorry, Goldcar, but your iOS app is broken and poorly designed. It won’t let me log in and keeps displaying strange error messages, claiming there’s no internet connection. Nothing works. 😩

Gold car Key n Go is spot on the app needs work!
No issues ever with gold car Key n Go pay the price and that's that! Cars are great and I'm out with a car in 2 minutes after uploading my details prior to flying.
The apps extremely buggy. I'm never able to log into my client zone I end up resorting back to Web page. If the app were fully de bugged and tested the review would be 5*

Can’t login
I can login on the website but same credentials don’t work on the app? What a poor experience. Not difficult in this day and age to make an app work.
Uncertainty of not knowing if the booking has gone through.
I give up on Goldcar. An uncomfortable process of have I booked or haven’t I. Very poor. Lost count of the number of times I thought I’d paid to only wait and be left wondering if it’s booked or not. Saves credit cards but when going to pay with saved card it says that the card number is wrong. Doesn’t remember all clients data such as over 25 or have I got younger! To many faults to mention just very very very very poor.

Can not log in
I created an account, whilst I can log in online I can not log into the app!
App not working and has no proper IT support
I notice reviews are historic about this app. I cannot access my account using the app and sent a few emails to the customer service team and got the same response - change your password! It still doesn’t work …. App needs proper IT support and when you click on the help button it shows the bookings page !! Poor show Goldcar as you need to listen to your customers. App only shows spinning wheel and doesn’t load people’s account details ⚠️‼️🆘

Poor app
Doesn’t allow me to login, just get the spinning wheel of death and stays like that.
In a digital world, this app is poor and the reviews seem to clearly point that out but it never gets better.

It is difficult using the app it has stop working, in my case, for some time now. Previously the app not always showing booking or updating my rental accordingly

App really needs proper testing
This isn’t a great app. Frequently buttons don’t do what they are labelled as doing. Field validation happens when the form is submitted (like in the 1990’s)!
The rental company is good and they provide good, clean and new cars but their web reservation service and mobile apps are second rate.
