Time zone always wrong
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used for really anything

Utter garbage
I’m not sure how this passed any basic quality assurance. Whoever made and approved this app has absolutely no business in the space. Nothing works except pulling up your barcode. You cannot update billing because no matter what it doesn’t accept your card, it crashes all the time, creating your account is awful. You cannot update your password. No verification for anything. Truly an app for 2005. Absurd.

Forget seeing your billing
This new app has completely erased the ability to access billing information or history, complete BS.

I just joined Golds Gym tonight and dealing with the Golds Gym apps makes me wanna throw my phone out the window.. they sent me three emails none of which included a barcode like it said it would and the apps won’t let me log into them without said bar yay!
Useles App
Absolutely useless app, the only use is to to check-in but you can take a screenshot of the QR code when you finish signing the contract.

Questionable decisions
It’s really baffling that anyone decided they could ship this app with the new sign in system. I had to go to App Store reviews to learn I had to create a whole new account. Super inconvenient to have to know your barcode number as well, makes creating a new account even worse on top of everything else. Yikes.

Why Even Make an App That Doesn’t Work?
The only thing that works on this app is the barcode. It’s impossible to change any billing or any other info on your account and the activity section is essentially just useless. There is no reason to have this app. Even if you forget your barcode you can just give them your name and they’ll pull up your account and see your picture and know it’s you.

How do I get an invoice. How did you update the app only to make it useless.
I used to have way to get access to my invoices so that I can request a reimbursement at work. Now that app is useless. Bone head change here.

This app runs extremely slow. Not impressed at all.

All I wanted to do was check the group class schedule but couldn’t. In fact, I couldn’t even login. This app is completely useless.

Genuinely the worst app ever, can’t even update billing information because whoever made it was incompetent and the basic functions like making a new account is not even possible which by the way why would you make every single member make an entire new account
Cannot update billing info in app
When I try to update my billing info the Name field gets saved as “Invalid Name”. I’ve tried correcting with my actual name several times, but it doesn’t work.
Released glitchy app
Can’t log in. Can’t reset password. Browser option no longer available. Why did they change it when everything worked. Useless app

Total trash. Makes logging in impossible and thus adds 15-35 mins to a workout each time as they are militant about scanning the barcode, a barcode that doesn’t exist because the app refuses to log in. Almost worth canceling membership over this. If you are considering joining Gold’s gym and reading this, do NOT join. Every other gym I’ve been a part of has far outstripped Gold’s in this experience.

Long press Check In on app icon missing
I use this app for 1 thing… checking in. With the old app, I could long-press the app icon to open my barcode. That option is missing from this new app. The “automatically display bar code” option only works if you manually swipe-close the app each time, which no one does.
Also missing: Add to Apple Wallet. That works best at my home club because it automatically pops up.
Would be ideal if I just had a home screen notification I could tap on when I’m near a Gold’s anywhere.
For consistency, the check in menu option at the bottom of the screen should open a tab like all of the other 3 options. The pop-up screen doesn’t make sense. I’d rather the check in tab just stay there. Then that would just be there when I open the app in my next visit.

No support/contact info. No chat. No phone. No support system at all. Terrible.

All pain no gain
Moving from the old app to this “updated” app requires you to pull out your key card so that you can manually type in your barcode and recreate your username and password.
Your reward? You can no longer add your barcode to Apple wallet.

This App is absolutely not ready to be available for download. Who developed this - teenager?
Please remove it immediately and don’t embarrass yourself. It’s far better to say don’t have an app yet, than to publicly show this.
