Points are gone.
I’ve been going to gong cha for years and I’ve accumulated a big chunk of points (32k), but now with this new app all my points are gone. It brought me all the way down to 316pts.
Revert back please
Old app was so much better. Also no apple pay??
Very buggy and fonts are difficult to read
Had issues with submitting payment with new app. It took at least 5 tries. The old app was fine and took Apple Pay. The new reward system isn’t great either. There was more incentives with the old app. Also noticed they took some longtime favorite flavors off the menu too. Font is difficult to read and the app is buggy, you can’t tap on anything it will just redirect you elsewhere. Please bring back the old app, the previous rewards system, and old

You can’t pay for orders on the app
When you try to check out to place the order, you get an error message saying “Payment details: Save Your Card Feature coming soon”. And it doesn’t let you pay. There’s literally no way to place or pay for an order using this app…which completely defeats the point and makes the entire app useless

Cheating existing members
Since the update of the apps, my member information, including all my reward points have disappeared. With so many tea places around, I guess there’s no more reason to be loyal to Gong Cha.
Lost my gift card money
I was forced to update the app and then when I logged in, my gift card balance is 0. I had $50 unused gift cards $ and it disappeared
Downgrade
The app is clunky and took out all the favorite promos such as Milk Tea Monday and BOGO Wednesday. All my points are gone from the old app. Can’t even blame my Gong Cha workers because this is the corporate’s fault. So frustrated.
New App = Horrendous
I try to use the normal Gang Cha app that I have used and I can’t order to my location while I am right there. I can’t login to my loyalty account and I can’t pay on this new app anyways. What a waste of space this app is. Also whenever I click anything, I get stuck in a loop and it sends me back to a different page. lol

dont have my location on there… gongcha california was perfectly fine.
Update does not recognize existing logins
After the last update, I cannot login anymore. Cannot get any reward points. Needs a new update to fix this ASAP.
Messed up
It said sign up with existing reward points. No provision for that. It did not remember me, even though name and phone the same. Lost 400 rewards and instead of remembering my orders I have to search through the menu.
Doesn’t work
Supposedly updated. But doesn’t work. Go to checkout and it just says payment failed and shakes and that’s it.

Font is hard to look at and I feel like I’m scrolling forever, to see a single drink at a time.
no online ordering available in most stores
Don't know what changed since the new update but many of the stores say "online ordering unavailable" which is annoying when I'm trying to order and pick-up on the go.
Don’t use this app
The store never gets the order and they cannot refund on their end. There’s also no refund option on the app, besides no customer service at all! (No contact numbers, I submitted an inquiry twice and never get a response)
Log in failed
I don’t know what they fixed 4 months ago. But it’s affecting existing customers login like myself. The employees are aware of the issue but yet there’s no resolution. All they call say is “systems are being updated.” That was 3 months ago! This is getting ridiculous! I can order as a non customer for pickup and it works fine but then I would lose out on the points. I’ve deleted/updated the app and reinstalled and still doesn’t work. Waste of time to go in person to order and wait when they have a system in place already all because their system doesn’t recognize existing customers.

this app sucks! It won’t even let me log in. It finds any way to not let me log into my acount. So basically I had the gong cha USA app and I had an acount on that and then I realized I was on the wrong app. So I went on this app tried to log in and it didn’t work once. I tried every method to log in and it says I already have an acount even though I never signed in yet. I tried every log in method and still doesn’t work. I actually hate this app. It’s the worst app I ever used.

sign in doesn’t work
i tried signing into the app using my number and google account, none worked and it made me login and enter my password multiple times. every time it told me something went wrong and i was completely unable to sign in.
