Why does this app think I’m in New Orleans? I’m 1000 miles away
It’s frustrating that I still can’t order drinks on this app. I hope they fix it one of these days.
Location?
Can’t change location and it wiped out my points once I put my phone number. The IT group should just off themselves for not knowing how to do anything
Best Boba ever
Me and my friend go there every week we always ride bikes we always get the same thing the workers there are the nicest people ever me and my friend wants cleaned up a mess of water on the ground, and they later came chasing after us out of the store to give us 10 out of 10
So glitchy
Loved the previous app, it send notifications right away when my order was received and tracked when it was ready. I downloaded the new one and it would not take my credentials. New app has been glitchy and slow.
App is not ready!
I was in Menifee California and ordered Gongcha there. The app doesn’t show the location and only display very limited location. As well there is no option to add point/reward online either.
Points system is rigged
I have been buying tea here for months. Haven’t used my points because a silly rule where I have to spend more than $7 to be able to use the points. When my drink is always below $6.
Even that is too much for a simple TEA. Nothing else!
Just TEA sweetener and ice.

Doesn’t work
Could not select store close to my location. App only shows stores in other states.
Not willing to road trip it for bubble tea.
It allows me to order from locations that are 500+ miles away from me. Even entering my location over and over again.
Not efficient for online orders
I had to download multiple apps to find out how to order at my local store and STILL CANT. Wasted my time and my boba mood is now gone.
Centereach NY location gone
After the app update, Centereach NY location is no longer on the list. I usually place and pickup my orders in Centereach location but I cannot place my online order anymore coz it doesn’t show the Centereach store. So inconvenient to have go inside the store, and wait for a long queue and usually there’s just one staff working.

Issues
Suddenly my entire reward disappears, I deleted the app and redownload and it won’t let me login. I reset the password, it still says invalid password and it is the correct password. Please fix your app, this gong cha app has so many constant issues

Better than Joy Yee’s (Chicago)?
My wife and I are huge bubble tea fans. For the longest time, our go-to spot has been Joy Yee’s in Chicago. But ever since we discovered Gong Cha, it’s become our new favorite! Don’t get me wrong—we still have a lot of love for Joy Yee’s—but Gong Cha has been so good. The staff is always friendly, and the drinks are consistently amazing. We highly recommend Gong Cha to anyone looking for some delicious bubble tea!

Don’t waste your time.
The app doesn’t let you find any locations near you. It only gives you Gong Cha locations in other states 😑 Also I went today, I gave my number, and I check my app for my points and it’s not there 🥲

I’m really frustrated. I downloaded the Gong Cha app, then the Gong Cha USA app, but neither of them can detect my location. They only show addresses in other states, thousands of miles away from me. How am I supposed to order?? It’s ridiculous. I’ve downloaded dozens of food and drink apps from all kinds of American chains like McDonald’s, Raising Cane’s, MOD Pizza, Happy Lemon… even apps from big and small grocery stores. But not a single app has ever been as unreasonable as this one.

Where’s TEXAS?
App doesn’t it display any of the shops they have. No way to type the address. So many apps with the same name but for specific stores only.
Doesn’t work in nyc don’t waste your time.

Can't change my location
I live in NYC and the only locations it shows close to me are in MI, and no matter where I change my location to, it doesn't change
