Good Dog DOES NOT let buyers leave reviews of breeders, so there is no way to tell which breeders are trustworthy.
I deeply regret trusting Good Dog to help us find a responsible breeder. Our experience left us seriously questioning what that screening really means.
Our puppy was born April 1 but, according to the records we received, did not receive her first puppy vaccination until July 2, at approximately 13 weeks old. When we received her, she had three embedded ticks, fleas, and scabs around her ears and neck.
We reported our concerns to Good Dog. We were told they would speak with the breeder and follow up with us. In our experience, we received no meaningful resolution or follow-through.
What disturbed me even more was learning how Good Dog handles its “Verified Owner” feedback. Good Dog’s own breeder-facing information says breeders can easily remove Owner Stories they do not want displayed. In my opinion, consumers should know this before relying on the positive owner experiences displayed on breeder profiles.
I also found Good Dog’s buyer protections extremely disappointing. I could find extensive policies concerning payments and financial transactions, but I could not find an equally clear and prominent policy explaining what Good Dog will do when a puppy arrives with significant health or care concerns or is materially inconsistent with what a buyer reasonably believed was being represented.
My advice to prospective puppy buyers: DO NOT assume that a breeder appearing on Good Dog means you can skip your own independent research. Verify veterinary records, vaccination dates, health testing, and breeder practices yourself.
I wish I had known all of this before trusting Good Dog with such an important decision. I would not use this service again.

Good Dog is pretty awesome. Only thing that sucks. Is that now if you want a dog it cost more than a car now.Lol but Good Dog’s pretty cool good app. Everything’s good on the app except the price prices.

Its been 3 years since Ive used this app, 3 years since Ive had my little best friend❤️ I recommend this to everyone looking for a puppy!
Lots of spam
No filter for AKC breeders, looks like app supports backyard breeders instead of focusing on quality dogs. Unsubscribe option not working resulting in 6+ emails a day. Not recommended.
Figure out your feedback loop pls
We purchased a puppy through good dog from a questionable breeder. I tried to report the incident but no one from Good Dog followed up. I cannot tell if this is a one off miss or is a larger more significant pattern. We love our puppy — it was just extra expensive to get him treated for the parasite and kennel cough he came with.

for helping me find my puppy. I was scammed prior to finding good dog. I was very apprehensive in the beginning but good dog made me feel secure about my decision. Any questions I had were answered promptly. This was a very positive and great experience. Thanks Good Dog.

Excellent app for getting your pups.
Wow! My experience so far with Good Dog has really been wonderful, connecting with passionate dog breeders and knowing more about their lifestyles raising puppies has really blown my mind away. Our beautiful Ausiedoodle puppy Bernie is all good and enjoying her new home.

I have found that the back arrow doesn’t work. If you click on something, you get stuck there. Please fix!
Good site. UI needs work
Great site for finding puppies, UI is clunky. Breeder profiles are lacking in any helpful information. Breed search is very limited and breeder location search function doesn’t work well. Back button / arrow doesn’t really work at times. Breeders many breeders don’t seem to respond to inquiries. I have had to reach out to them via their own websites. It seems once puppies are born Good dog is a good resource. But used as a way to get info about breeders who might not be actively selling it is lacking.

1 star for promoting backyard breeders
Be cautious when using this app they promote backyard bred mutts like doodles and doodles and oh did I mention doodles? And you can’t block them unless you apply, withdraw, then block. No way I’m gonna give my private information to people who are terrible horrible people in the first place. This app needs MAJOR improvements if they are gonna allow backyard breeders to stay and promote their terrible mongrels.

Don’t make the mistake I did
Do yourself a favor and do not use this app unless you don’t mind paying over twice what the dog cost. I honestly feel. Raped by this app in regard to cost. Every transaction you make with the breeder. For example, your deposit, then the actual price for the dog. And then any transportation costs, you have to pay a processing fee.
Not once, but every time an invoice is generated. Not to mention you are charged two and from the location of what you’re having the dog shipped. In my case, by the time, everything was set and done. It cost me almost 2 times of what the price of the dog was. The app would not allow my breeder to make any changes to Invoices, for example, a changing logistics And also blocked my breeder from making any Suggestions which would save me money. Completely unacceptable business practices. In my opinion.

Just purchased corgi
I just purchased my new corgi from good dogs and had an excellent experience met with the breeder who was great and very knowledgeable about the breed I was purchasing . Angie was very nice and had all documents needed and had just given the puppy a bath.. she provided full instructions on care for the new puppy , Angie is an excellent breeder and her puppies have wonderful temperaments.. I would not hesitate to use good dogs again..
