Hidden fee
I purchased as single use as guest access. But this app charge me monthly fee of $29 every month without cancellation option. If it’s trial, this should send me a reminder or something before trial period end.
Automatically put me in a subscription cycle.
I went on the website to look up a vin and it said $1.95 to check this report. (I’m very meticulous) I made sure it wasn’t a subscription. Nothing obvious stating it was a subscription. So I did the $1.95. Came to the App Store to download the app saw a review saying they got put in an automatic subscription and went to my account and say I’m on a subscription now as well with my payment method.

Won’t Refund Anything
DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING. I paid for what I thought was a singular report but instead got billed a whole subscription for a service that a normal person really wouldn’t need unless they were looking at 20 cars at the same time. If you’re looking for a refund don’t bother. These people just say “Hey thanks for paying for this month. You can use the services in the meantime but I can’t refund you because I already got the money.” Just get a carfax instead, seriously. The report I received was a load of useless mumbo jumbo and only 50% was actually useful. GoodCar work on some integrity.

Scummy Business Practices - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I wanted to run a VIN for a vehicle my friend was considering buying. Wanted to run just a single report but they took my payment information and automatically signed me up for $30 a month subscription without my consent to do so. And now I am having extreme difficulty cancelling it. There is no cancel button on their website. There is a cancel button on the mobile app, but when you click it, it says, “Subscription cannot be cancelled from this device”, which is such blatant BS that it is indicative of an intentionally scummy business model. Should be illegal, and company should have honestly a class action brought against them. Do NOT use this service!

They banned my account after using it unlimited times like they promote I pay for two different subscriptions which are unlimited look ups and unlimited searches but banned me after using this feature.

Literally impossible to cancel through the website or the app. Claims to send monthly notices prior to billing, but I received nothing. Total subscription billing scam, I thought I was paying once for a single report.

They wil charge you 1.95 $ initially and will not send you link to cancel membership and will charge you 29 $ . I sent them many emails to share link to cancel but they did not . From the app we can not cancel as they disabled. Beware of these scammers na report is also not correct which they are sharing.

Best customer service ever for a low view app
I highly recommend this app when it comes to their customer service above other customers because of Maria. call was 45 minutes and within that 45 minutes I never felt like Maria was trying to hang up on me like most companies to try to handle the next customer. I feel like Maria handled me like if I was there only user. I felt very special because of the attention she gave me. Thnks again GOODCAR!!! Highly recommended nd no I’m not a bot didn’t get paid for this jus genuinely used the app nd was surprised to their service 🫡💪🤙

I am just another culprit of the scam. I am in the works of working with BBB. Please report to them as well, it sounds like they are looking to move towards criminal charges against company. Make it the worst 30 dollars they ever stole from you!!!
They will ask you for your whole name on the phone to cancel so they can get more information they don’t already have to tie to your card information to sell to data brokers. SCAM AND ILLEGAL
