Remove the button
Why did you remove the button to move to the next word? Now, instead of a single click, you have to click twice, which is very inconvenient when translating a lot of words.

Didn’t work and gave a different translation each time
Tried to translate a clip with the voice search from Arabic to English, it gave wrong (and completely different each time) translations. Useless app.

I’m not happy because this app does not allow you listening to the structures of languages I’m blind and cannot listen to my screen reader say mispronounced words fix this or I’m deleting your app sorry but this is not a good app for me anymore. It used to work so good but now it just doesn’t want to work. I can’t figure out why it’s doing this, but to speak test button says dimmed and live. Translate says dimmed and every and I can’t listen to the words pronounced why is it like this?

Getting worse over the years for languages like Japanese
I use this a lot in Japan. I speak the language pretty decently as a third language but I need translation tools still for complex sentences or at times contextual translations. Translate is so limited in functions or defaults to really bad literal translations that it’s frustrating to use when you need something quickly in a situation. Punching it in Google Search to let Gemini do it has yielded better results so I don’t know why the product teams can’t get it right. Actually I do know since I worked many years there; it’s a disaster and it’s no wonder Google products get worse and worse.

Mislabeled languages
Someone I know is trying to learn a few things in Tagalog and searched for it in the app. It wasn’t there. Instead, we had to search for “Filipino”. That’s not what the language of the Philippines is called…
