Translation is fine but annoying UX
The dictation/typing and camera functions should not share the same language translation settings. If I’m in a foreign country I need to dictate/type from my language to the local language, but if I need to translate writing it’s obviously the opposite. So every time the app is used for a different function you have to manually swap the languages. This is further frustrated by the camera function not just having a language switch button like typing does.

They best thing ever
Completely free translation app. Can be used to learn languages and the camera feature is top tier. Always have this app visible on my home page. Only thing i would add is being able to change the voices of translator. Maybe even add lessons on languages to help learn. I could see that being viral.

no connection/no help
This app was unusable if /when I wasn’t connected to the internet.
In Japan I wasn’t always connected to the internet so this app was useless. I needed it and it couldn’t help at the most important times. 😩

Bring back the reverse translate button
Why did you remove the reverse translation button? Now I have to click another button just to have the option to reverse translate and it doesn’t even work. That was so helpful when learning a new language. Now I have to find another app that still offers it.
Why did you change??
This was my go to translation app. About 5 days ago it changed. Now I can't see what I'm typing. Terrible! ZERO STARS
