Options with no actions
Why are there even options to “add/remove” a vehicle if you can’t even do this within the app? This app seems more or less useless
Can’t sign in
On the log in screen the log in box is tucked in where you can’t click on it to download. Seems like the tech on this tool needs more attention.
Chat broken, company broken
When using this app on the iPhone, it freezes or the keyboard covers up the prompt and you cannot see what you are typing. As if it wasn’t bad enough you cannot get anyone at Goosehead to answer texts, emails, or online forms. DO NOT use their app or use them as an insurance broker.
Meh! So-so app
Can’t figure out banners and badges. The app icon has a badge indicating two notifications, but I can’t find them in the app.
Also, can’t find any billing/payment/renewal support in app. Might be there, but don’t know where.

Chat ended prematurely
Agent ended chat and referred to a phone number before giving me the opportunity to verify the end of our discussion. Very annoying. Do better.
Takes forever to connect to an agent
I exited the app like it said I could and I’d be notified when an agent was available. I was notified but when I clicked it, I was taken back to the login page and lost connection to the agent. It took almost 45 minutes from the time of the request to get a notification that an agent was available.
No service
Non existent service team, only AI chat option. Impossible to work with.
AI Chatbot
I have attempted to get my policy declaration page through the new AI chatbot. When I ask it “please provide my declaration page for my policy”, it responds that it does not understand my request. I imagine my request is the most common. You have eliminated the ability to call a live person and I now cannot access my insurance documents.

Useless App
This app is absolutely useless. I even chatted with a rep using the app regarding the lack of features and they confirmed that right now it is buggy and still in development. You can’t even pay your premium with this app.
Chat Function Cons
It’s nice to be able to see all of your policies in one place but I tried using the chat function 3 different times and each time I had to wait 20 minutes to get someone to assist me and if I didn’t respond within 3 minutes they would leave the chat.
Completely Worthless
Functions as a means to get a policy number but that’s where it stops, and that info is available in the app of your actual carrier.
Used chat to try and file a claim and the rep that answered after the AI response nonsense said “I can help you with that” and then immediately said “I can’t take claims online so call this number…” and disconnected the chat.

No option for claims
There is no option to make or follow up a claim. The chat agents are so helpless. They just simply said we don’t know

The app has been easy to use with the team constantly ready to receive and apply feedback to make it better. It has made my insurance experience a lot better!
All My Insurance in 1 Place!
Have been using this app for 6~ months and it is so helpful and useful. No matter the insurance carrier, I can see all of my policies with Goosehead in one place (don’t need an app for every carrier - Progressive, Travelers, Mercury, etc.). I can chat directly in the Goosehead app with a licensed customer service agent and request updates to policies (ie. vehicle change) or docs (ie. home dec page for a re-fi). Best part has to be me always being in control and never in the dark. I see how many days until my policies are renewing and the current coverage limits. Login is the easiest thing ever using my cell phone #, no saving passwords.

Doesn’t recognize policies.
You try to chat to get logged in and have policies added. Takes forever for service agent to come on and then they immediately end the chat before you can respond.
