Gopuff delivery
I thoroughly enjoy, driving and delivering for Gopuff. My only concern, is my store does not have a public restroom, so often times I need to find somewhere else, and depending on where I’m returning from, the app will kick me off. And make me sign back in. Other than that, the app works great. The tips are wonderful and the people have been fantastic!

It can be a nice little way to make some extra cash, depending on where you live and how many drivers there are in your area. The base pay at least where I live is not good. You mostly rely on tips if you get any because tips are optional with this service, but there are regulars who you get to know that tip well, especially if you’re a good driver and there are others who tip well sometimes. The app is not updated nearly as often as it should be and contacting customer service, especially when you’re on an active delivery is really difficult sometimes especially to resolve a simple issue and they ask 1 million questions and give you a lecture pretty much, and there are times when it malfunctions and other drivers will get offers and you’ll be sitting there online, but not get any, and I’ve noticed if a GoPuff order is sent out to a DoorDash or an Uber driver. They get paid a lot more for it than a GoPuff Driver does which is not fair. But when it works, it’s all right when it doesn’t work it can be aggravating.

Decided i’d give this a shot and accepted 3 rides yesterday all totaling about $21 for an hour of driving (One ride showed it paid $10, the other two were $5 and some change). I check my balance after driving & today and ended up earning a measly $5.31 total for all 3 trips. $0 in tips but either way they mislead with the $ they showed I would make just do doordash and get the guaranteed bread. 0/10 do not recommend.

I can’t do DoorDash
I can’t do DoorDash because I’ve had bad driving records in the past. I do this to get by when I need some extra cash, but sometimes it is really unbearable. Sometimes they have you waiting two hours on a order that will only pay two dollars with no tip

Gopuff is good to have and easy to operate but if you don’t have certain documents updated they deactivate your account unreal!!!
Notifications
I consistently miss trip offers because the app does not send me a notification with a sound with all my sound /alarms/haptics on. It also kicks me off the app stating I’ve been away from the facility for too long when I’ve been parked in the lot the whole shift.
Why the update 😭
Pleaseee remove the new update where it’s a link to the Apple Maps … it’s so unnecessary actually makes me want to crash outttt 0/10 !

Pay could be a little better with the inflation and gas, but it is a great app to make money … a good side gig!
On orders for startbucks , waiting time .
Gopuff should improve more on there platform because when a drivers have orders that contain Starbucks we don’t know if it’s contain Starbucks or not then the app tells you that everything is ready and is not ready because of the Starbucks order then you gatta wait for another 20 minutes to be ready plus the other issues is when scanning components bar code is not working plus also gopuff should pay the driver for the wait pay when waiting for the startbucks order when is not ready, the pay is too low $3 dollars per delivery is unacceptable , I have a vehicle they need give boost or bonus or weekly pay bonus for drivers.

Delivery
The app is very glitchy.. and the support isn’t much support. I’ve come to them numerous times about issues I’ve had with the app and they always say that they’re gonna escalate the situation to higher ups and have them resolve it but there is no higher ups. And on top of that the hot streak thing is bogus.. not just that but when I had a hot streak in the triple digits on 2 different occasions and I wasn’t prioritized for any trips and the trips I did get were low ball orders (always $2.50-$5.50) and 99% of the time the customer doesn’t tip. There’s no way I’m driving 16+ miles for $2-$5 with the price of gas rn. When my streak was high I wasn’t prioritized but when my streak was in single or low double digits I was getting orders $8+ with customers tipping $9+ every time. And they don’t send you missions like they used to. There’s a lot of bugs this app needs to fix but other than that it’s good for passing time and getting you out the house that’s for sure.
