We booked a stay at goSTOPS for 20 July. However, on 21 July, protests were taking place in Delhi, making it unsafe to travel. Our bus was also cancelled, so we were unable to travel to the property.
Considering the circumstances, we contacted goSTOPS and requested that our booking be cancelled or that we be offered some assistance. Unfortunately, the goSTOPS team refused to help and simply stated that we should have informed them five days before the check-in date to cancel the booking.
This was extremely distressing and disappointing. I understand that cancellation policies exist, but when there is an unexpected situation involving safety concerns and public transport disruptions, some level of understanding and support should be provided.
I will not be booking a stay with goSTOPS again. I am extremely disappointed that the management showed no concern for our safety or circumstances.

First visit at goSTOPS
This was my first visit to goSTOPS Katra hotel or I say first visit to goSTOPS hotel but it left a remarkable,unforgettable and pleasant memory. This proverbs ‘First impression is the last impression’ fit here perfectly. Especially my family and kids enjoyed a lot. There concept is very appreciable. Everything was fine whether it room, hygiene, food quality, indoor activity for kids and family. Everything attracts me and this will be my first choice hotel wherever I plan next trip. I recommend everyone to visit once and you will love it. Most important Mata Rani Trikut Parvat view was mesmerising from the room.

Our stay at gostops udaipur was beyond expectations. We had a great time staying there and enjoyed the various events organised by them. Shot out to people like kesar and shankar who were really helpful and made our stay memorable

App worked great for me in Goa. pPopup for food ordering or something related to app after every unlock is very irritating…

The app has set a standard for me. Everything at the property is so easily available on the app with just a click. Its amazing

Having a peaceful experience in my stay with gostops. It has a friendly crowd, they have activities for the guests in the evening time so that everyone can gel up. Special thanks to Nitik & Arun for hosting us. You guys are great good work volunteering them🤌🏻☮️

Nice and clean room . The staff and receptionist is very humble and down to earth. You can have a access of common room where you can enjoy terrace view and some indoor games .

Irritating Ads when unlocking the door
Ads are showing even when unlocking door or locker. Too irritating. Please remove them.

Extremely disappointed with goSTOPS and their customer service.
I booked my stay for 15–17 August when the price was much higher. Now, the exact same stay is showing at a much lower price — but there is no option to cancel, rebook, or even modify my reservation.
All I requested was a very simple change: allow me to shift my booking to another goSTOPS location because the weather at my original destination is not suitable for travel. That’s it — no refund, no extra demands, just a basic request any customer-first brand would handle easily.
Instead, goSTOPS chose to hide behind rigid policies and show zero flexibility or empathy. They clearly care more about keeping your money than keeping their customers happy.
This is by far the worst hotel chain I’ve ever dealt with.
I’m never booking with goSTOPS again, and I’ll make sure people know how they treat paying guests

Unhelpful customer support
I wanted to extend the booking but there was no option in their stupid app to do so. So, I made a new booking but mistakenly selected the same date I was staying in. The customer support was aggressive, unhelpful and denied to provide the refund nor did they help to change the booking date as I had requested.

Locker option is not being shown in the app. Even Door UNLOCK was not showing until I reported the matter at the front desk. Persistent issue for longer than 4 hours. Worst experience. Disappointing

Property is totally diff from internal pictures, Due to pathetic automation service I am unable to open my room door! Also not able to order food via card, upi & cash any medium.

Worst hostel in my 10years of travelling
The management does not care about anything whatsoever. They have cramped up the entire place, the one in Vagator specifically. AC is not working, when switched ON works only at 28deg. The staff here have not trained about basic q&a

No systematic plan for checking. Receptionist has really bad attitude not at all polite and pool was not cleaned. Very bad experience. Don’t have high hopes from this hostel. We were supposed to checking at 1:00pm but it was completed after an hour. Receptionist is really worst.

It’s hard to understand how this app works. Not recommended to make any bookings from their official app. Did not even get the cashback as alleged.
