1099 illegal in New Jersey
While I love the convenience of this app they mostly only offer independent contractor work. I live in New Jersey where this is illegal. I have contacted the app multiple times about this and they state I’m wrong. I know that I am right and wish they would change it and then I’d actually use the app more. Right now I will only work for offices that list as employee work. Teero is better for this because they follow the laws for hygienist

Picky Offices
I don’t like the fact that you have to apply and get accepted or denied. Clipboard, HnR, and Toothio just give you the shift. Some offices on GoTu are way too picky. I honestly just stopped applying to jobs on this app

Does Not Support The Providers
This platform does not support its providers, they’re most in favor of the offices. If you send a message within seconds to an office, and the office never responds, they’ll allow an office to penalize you, and drop your rating, because their lack of reading messages. 34th Street Dental, in Berwyn, IL in particular. If you’re a provider there should not be a biased opinion from the platform itself, especially when there’s documented proof, you did all you could to inform an office prior to your start time and they fail to read their messages. I’m still in good standing but the principle of the matter is this platform does not support its providers as they feel they need to the offices, but there would not be a platform if it was not for the providers.

I was told $60.00 per hour and then after shift it was $57.00. What’s up with that?
