Rubish

Doesn’t work, at all. Apple, get rid of this trash.

Still a great little app

I love this app and still use it lots for my ambient electric mandola stuff. I’d love it to be udated for AU compatibility; would hate to see it abandoned.

Rubbish

Up to now, just opened it and find that it is nothing more than a noisy piece of C..P...!

Does nothing

iOS 11.4.1, no sound, unless there’s some secret button

Likely needs an update

But, still cool. I’ve got a white block to the right of the blue page, and I’m not sure why it’s there. My install has never animated as it does in the demo videos. I’ve re-installed. No change.

Uh huh huh huh uh h u uh huh

Love it. Make percussion ethereal. Nature becomes a sonic temporal galaxy. A voice becomes a force. Or, oops, you blink and Alice kicks you out of the rabbit hole. Until next time...

Simple, Immediate, Gratifying

Just picked this back up after using other granular apps, and the simple interface, with immediate understandable interface feedback, was gratifying. Not a substitute for other granular tools, but well worth having in the toolkit.

?

How do you change sound input- like from my music rather than mic..

Unsure

Pretty lame that I have to write a review before I can see the info section.

Good idea, getting better

As promised, the latest update improves pass through sound drastically. GrainProc is now a nice addition to the toolkit of any sonic dabbler. The ability to reverse what's going on would be a nice addition, nest time.

Nic

spacey drone synth

played around with this last night and can creat nice spacey, droney music/ sound with it. i still wish there were more parameters and a record and file import export option..you need to give this app a little time and play with the settings, at first i wasn't impressed but with the right loop and tweaked settings this app started to do its magic..

Now with instructions!

When I bought this, there were no instructions or documentation of any kind — now in recent versions, there are, which is a considerable improvement. The sound quality is also improved over what it was.

Cool app, looking forward to new features

Hey, thanks for this app, can be useful for granular experiments especially with audiobus. Two features I'd love to have are stereo support (especially for Mics such as the rode ixy) and also the ability to change the pitch of the grains would be great!!
Thanks, great app and freeee :)

Interesting and promising

Makes some cool sounds. Its pretty easy to use. Would love to be able to record to a file.

Unbelievable rubbish.

Basically a rip-off even if it was free.

Great live performance processor/instrument!

I use GrainProc in a variety of settings and styles of music making. The simplicity of the interface is deceptive; one can do A LOT with this app as a performance instrument as well as 'mere' live processing. There are a number of good granular apps out there, but this is consistently my go to.

great app

wow! this is really cool. fun and interesting. i like it a lot.

I applaud this creativity

This app is based around a very cool and well executed concept which happens to be a lot of fun. If you like granular synthesis you should absolutely check this out! Processing live sound like this is a creative awakening!

A great app that needs a big red record button!

I love this app! Please add the ability to record/export with it. Please add this & it will be a 5 star app! If you have not tried this, and you dig experimental/ambient stuff, you owe it to yourself to give it a spin!

New version dead w/iOS 5.1

You already know this, but the new version won't open w/iOS 5.1. I did check to make sure before downloading it that the specs hadn't changed... so, my fix is in the developers' hands because I have an iPad I.
