Terrible

This EV charging company is terrible. Their app is slow and their charging stations never works.

charging

horrible app takes forever to load and doesn’t even load connectors JUST CHARGE ELESWHWRE

Horrible account creation experience

I had to back out and restart creating an account multiple times.

This app doesn’t not work with 1Password. Could not autofill a password, and trying to autofill the password causes an email address to overwrite the phone number, in a way which is possible to revert.

Also the UI for adding an address is horribly confusing. It’s not at all obvious there’s a text field at the top to type in your address. Instead they present this map and try to film address based on where you are - which I expect is useful zero percent of the time since you’re standing in front of the charging station.

There’s also no explanation that the $40 charge for a credit card is just a pre-authorization and you’ll be refunded any amount that exceeds your actual charging expenses.

Highly recommend the company do some *actual* user testing. You’d see how confusing things are very quickly.

Nope

Stopped in because I’m looking for alternate chargers so that I don’t have to use Tesla ones all the time. It was not easy to start. Would not read my card at the stall. I also had difficulty starting at through the app. Once I got it started, it was only charging at 135 mph. We ran to go get a coffee since it was going so slow and then as soon as we sat down, I got an alert that the charging stopped after charging around 10 miles.
I’d say give them a chance to figure out their systems before you start using their charger
To them, consider developing a quality assurance program to try and understand this experience from your customer’s point of view. The most difficult charge I’ve run across so far.

Couldn’t be worse

Cost the last 20% charge of my phone and didn’t get it work!

Not Intuitive

The obvious way to start a session is to use the Start Charging button along the bottom. When I did that, my saved credit card did not show up. Finally, the agent mentioned that I should plug the charger into the vehicle before touching that button. THEN the credit card showed up and I could start the season.

There are no instructions on the charger itself with this information. Instead they say to 1) download the app, 2) scan the QR code on the charger, and 3) plug in and start charging. (Note, it says to plug in last.)

Well, where the heck is the scan button on the app?? It's very unintuitively located to the right of the search field. Like, the field where you search for charging locations. But you're already on the screen for the locating you're at, so it makes no sense to look there for the scan icon.

Moreover, the scan icon does not look like a scan function. If you take a screen shot and zoom in, you can kind of see a tiny QR code looking quadrant on the icon, but this is only clear after you know what you're looking for. A MUCH better design would have featured the scan icon as prominently as the large printed instructions on the charger.

I spent 40 minutes on the phone with the (very patient) rep trying to figure out all out.

A TERRIBLE first impression of Graviti!

Terrible

Stations glitch while charging, customer service no help. Barely any charging station ls work in Houston. Charging will stop mid charge for no reason

Unable to sign up

There’s no way to sign up through the app. It keeps presenting an error when creating a password and there is no information on the requirements for a password (i.e. no special characters or character limit).

Candidly this app is unusable.

It flat will not load - locks up every time.

Impossible even to create an account

In the phone number field, the software keeps overwriting my number with my email address, then gives an error message saying that it’s not a valid phone number

Terrible Experience

I’ve used other EV apps and I thought I would test this one out before I actually had to use it. Terrible experience. Entered my info, including CC info and tried to get it to start charging. Said connected and then connecting… The screen on the charger had options, one of which said swipe card, but there was no CC reader on the charger. Kept trying, no luck and then the charging cable would not unlock from my car. Called the customer service number on the station, got put on hold saying I was #1 in queue. After about 2 minutes it said sorry, leave a call back number and we’ll get back to you. Finally the cable released but before I drove away I got the call back. Unfortunately there was no one on the other end. And they never tried a second time. Needless to say, I won’t be using this company any time in the future. Sad state of affairs for EV charging.

Garbage, this is the problem with EV charging

$20 minimum load if you create an account, $40 hold if you use as a guest, poor quality stations, terrible app

Response from developer

Hi Customer, for registered drivers, we suggest that you select a credit card option instead of putting money into your wallet before starting the charge process.

Unusable

I downloaded the app it says scan a QR code or interstation ID I made a station there’s no QR codes and there’s no identifying tag, so no idea how to actually use this wasted time of my life
