Recent updates
Total mobile have acquired GRS and made some improvements. However this app is still limited and requires UI improvements. It needs a monthly calendar view with different colours to clearly show rest days or leave etc. It’s 2025 and you should have pretty much full use in an app like on the website such as inputting end of shift OT, submitting time sheets, viewing daily posting sheets etc. Please look at MyShiftPlanner app for inspiration.

Blank screen
When I open the app the login screen is often blank meaning I have to force close the app.
Control Room Sheet should have an option to volunteer for shifts.

Not working now
This app no longer works. I tap on authenticate and nothing happens. Reinstalled it but it still doesn’t work. Only way I can get it to open is by resetting it. But that requires access to a QR code to scan.
Update has made it worse…
App was fine, did the update now can’t log in…
Terrible
Barely useable to check rosters. Constant error messages, kicks you out, fails to load… overall laggy and un-user friendly!!

Frequently requires force closing when you reopen the apps from an active session. Opens on blank screen instead of returning to login page or last page you were viewing
Little functionality
Can’t do much with this app. No calendar view. Unable to add end of shift overtime. Unable to submit timesheets. Unable to see daily posting sheet. Unable to see your rolling hours. All you can do is view the next 6 or so shifts as a list, book overtime and request leave.
Not fit for purpose
When viewing duties, app constantly goes white, & I have to delete & re-download (which requires a PC as you need to scan QR code as keying number in doesn’t work). Literally can only get one use out of the app before requiring re-download. Absolute rubbish.

Terrible app it does not load anything up
I’ve been ghosted by an app
Works for a while then the screen goes completely blank.
I then have to delete and reinstall which brings the app back for a few hours before it goes blank again.
Running on latest IOS, phone is less than a year old.
Shame as it’s really useful to have my shifts handy without carrying my iPad around. Please fix it

Absolutely terrible
Constantly crashes.
Resets your dates for forward planning.
When you views details of a shift and then return it scrolls to the top so you have to tediously scroll down again.
Generally clunky and poorly written.
The web version is almost as bad.

Worst App ever!
This app has an interface that looks like it was made by a high school project team. Not to mention the incessant bugs that have always been present since my organisation started using GRS. It’s obvious no one in the development team cares about what they’re putting out. Seems to me GRS charge a fortune for their product and lock big companies into their product and don’t bother with updating the system to work in a contemporary environment. The only reason I use this garbage is because I’m employed by a company who was stupid enough to buy the product. I’d rate it zero if I could.
