Needs an update
Very glitchy when searching and freezes up. Sometimes kicks you out. A lot of ad pop ups as well which is annoying.
Not sold A single item
Gumtree used to allow to sell vehicle post for free . Recently I tried to put advertisements for selling my own car. It was asking minimum of $67.
Plus my any of listings didn’t sell through gumtree.

No Dark mode
Dark mode feature should be available on every app. It reduces strain on the eyes. Such a simple function but huge benefit to have.

Photo re-ordering needs work
App is just okay after eBay took over … watch the photo quality (which is totally munted) and re-ordering as it takes the order you selected and puts the least suitable photo as the main one. How about you just let us decide what we want Gumtree?

Need to be able to rate time waisters
You need to be able to rate people from first contact. To many people waist your time but you can not rate them unless they keep a conversation going for some time. Let sellers rate them from first contact

Rip off landlord
This person refuses to make an effort to contact people and after someone doesn’t move into her room she ghosts them refuses to pay back there bond and 2 weeks rent…. I wouldn’t let anyone move in with this person if u want to be ripped off by a rude arrogant person

The messages double and it gliches and some people are rude.
Unusable due to lag
App starts to lag my entire phone after only a minute or so in the app. Eventually, my phone becomes completely unusable due to the lag and requires a restart. I guess it could be a memory leak?
Poor app browsing and freezing
I used to be a true believer and user of Gumtree app, but no longer.
Keeps freezing and returning back to start all the time while using my phone of tablet(IPhone and iPad).
The app is full of glitches - have upgraded and re- installed it couple of times.
Next time it freezes I will permanently remove it and not use it.
