Barely works but at least I park for free those days
App is terrible, makes you click multiple times to select the right lot, likely due to how slow the app functions. You will have to uninstall/reinstall multiple times.
Not very reliable
I have tried multiple tea lately to use this app and it keeps giving me error messages… it used to be good… but now stinks and causes me to waste inordinate time trying to pay for parking… quality is totally downhill.

Not very effective. Trying to pay for my car in -10° had to still get out of my car and scan the code and re-enter all my information.
No Apple Pay, No ANY Pay
App returned “no payment method” error when trying to pay with a stored credit card. No option for Apple Pay. With no way to pay for parking, this app is basically useless. Deleted.
Customer service
Customer service is not helpful at all. The app doesn’t work properly.
Payment issues with App
Very Poor. I created profile and inserted credit card details.. app says successful payment taken $0.01. And app do not allow for payment could not park..
Unable to delete vehicle if there’s a typo in the license number
Why do you guys make it impossible to delete a vehicle information when there’s a typo? You can delete it fine when there are no typos. The point of deleting something is when you made a mistake. Why is there an error and why is it so difficult?
Unusable
(1) my payment method is saved and all the info for it is entered correctly, but when I go to pay for parking, the app says the payment method doesn’t exist (or something like that).
(2) the map is sooooo bad. Most of the time, I have to manually zoom in on my location for it to show parking options and get to the specific one I’m at. Fine, I can do that, but then the map will zoom itself back out not long after I’ve zoomed in! So then I have to zoom in again. The location button also doesn’t work.
This app SUCKS SO HARD.

Not user friendly or responsive at all. Been trying to add my payment method for over 10 minutes and it doesn’t work.

I hate hang tag - it works ok most of the time, but when it doesn’t, it’s more than frustrating - can’t you guys get some advice from someone who knows about parking apps to improve this system?
Can’t log in
I can’t log in, there’s no log in screen. It just wants to make a new account but won’t because I already have one. How do I use this??

Issue has never been resolved. This is unacceptable, especially since it’s the only parking app accepted in the specific parking lot I use in NW Portions

Failed
On November 6, 2025. I use this app for the first time. Once my information was entered I received a message that said your session has started. The next thing I know I’m getting a parking violation from the Portland, Oregon police stating that I did not have a receipt in my windshield. I tried to reach customer service and was on the phone for an hour. No one came to the phone. It’s now two days later and I still haven’t heard from customer service . I was told by I’m park customer service that the next time I use the app I should make sure I’m paid before I leave my car. What a backhanded slap and what a horrible customer service experience if you’re going to use this slot use the QR code or the machine or you’ll get a $90 ticket

I paid through them, got a ticket from parking lot company for nonpayment, and when I called HangTag for proof of payment thst I could send to the parking lot company, they said they had no proof. BUT THE MONEY GOT TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT!

I would give this app zero stars if it were allowed. Can’t even sign up with a new account.
Horrible
Wouldn’t let me pay for parking in the app. Kept getting a “Internal Server” error. Had to leave my hotel at 6am to go to the parking lot to pay at a machine.
This app is unusable
This app does not progress past selecting location. I can enter an address, a lot number, or search via the map but I cannot progress past this point. Will be deleting app.
