Pay more and get ticketed
I have been noticing I am overpaying when I go downtown Denver using it for Colorado Rockies games. Then on July 2, I used it to pay for parking and I later received a parking ticket from the parking lot I paid for on Spot Hero. I contacted customer service and they were not able to help. I am deleting this application. It’s not worth getting fined. It’s cheaper, more convent and easier to find a spot on my own. It reminds me of Uber and Lyft. When it first came out it was a savings. Now it’s not worth leaving on my phone. Delete your before you regret it like I do.

I’ve been a loyal SpotHero customer and have used the service many times. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected change of plans and never used my parking reservation. I did not enter the garage or park my vehicle at all.
I contacted customer support, explained the situation, and respectfully asked if they could make a one-time exception by offering a refund or even SpotHero credit. My request was denied based on the cancellation policy, and after I followed up to ask if there was any flexibility for a long-time customer, I received no further response.
I understand companies need policies, but I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and customer care in a situation where the reservation was completely unused. Loyal customers deserve better communication and consideration.
While the app itself is easy to use, this experience has made me reconsider using SpotHero in the future.

Scammed me and would not refund me
I bought a reservation for a garage for a Minnesota twins game in downtown Minneapolis. I followed the directions given on the app to the garage I was supposed to park in and parked in it but when it was time to pay post game the QR code would not work. I requested a refund and wrote out a ticket to get my money back but instead of helping they just said I should’ve found the right garage even though it was the app directions that led me to the wrong garage
