Entry/exit too often a mess
Great idea, and easy to search/book. But entry/exit frequently a problem due to instructions that don’t match the reality.
Most recent example. SH instructions: “take a ticket at gate”. Actual experience on entry: “Swipe your CC” (but…we prepaid). Ok, there’s a tiny other options button…which prompts us to enter a phone #. What will that do? Who knows. Lots of cars now impatiently waiting behind us, so we try the phone #.
It worked in this case, but only because we apparently guessed correctly, not because Spot Hero gave us the slightest clue. Variations of this scenario happen too often for us to rely on this app.

Spot Parking
Easy to use app and very user friendly
Very clean and close
Very close to my destination and clean parking.
Complete failure
Honestly I felt stupid after using this app to book a parking space. My reservation was straight up rejected when I got there because the lot was full, so this service does nothing to actually reserve a space. Had to pay 3x for parking somewhere else last minute, then run 1/2 a mile for a critical event and showed up late. Dumpster fire of a service.

Top Choice
My experience with Spothero was exceptionally easy. I had several choice lots to choose from and found something very close by my final destination at an exceptionally good price. Last minute. due to time changes, I was able to revise my reservation. The Apple wallet confirmation was changed simultaneously. This was a great convenience since there was no need to download it again. The changes were straight across the board and there were no additional steps needed.

Good parking space
It’s a very clean and safe parking garage with good location.
Dynamic pricing
Be forewarned this app engages in dynamic pricing. If you start to use it often the prices you are shown will start to creep up. I’m deleting the app because I’ve noticed it on two recent occasions.
Easy to use

Parking garage is immaculate. Only problem was the lot scanner would not recognize the booking QR. Gate opened after I entered my cell # as an alternative
Hidden fees
Be careful some parking has hidden fees they don’t mention and Spot Hero has the worst customer service. Won’t resolve nothing. Not worth my time.

If you live in a city, you need SpotHero!
My mother introduced me to SpotHero, and I can’t believe I’ve ever lived and functioned without it! We live in Nashville; if you’ve ever been to Nashville you know that parking is not always so easy and friendly. A casual night downtown can cost you $20 an hour in a typical parking garage or lot. With SpotHero, I can drive downtown on a busy concert night and pay $15 or less for the ENTIRE NIGHT. I had never even heard of such a thing. I can go out to coffee in the city and find nearby parking for $4 for 3 hours, it’s unbelievable. On top of the genius of the app itself, the customer service is top-tier! I have had a few instances of distress due to user error and SpotHero has gone above and beyond to resolve my issues and inconveniences. I am constantly recommending SpotHero to everyone in my life! Reservation cancellation issue
If someone reserve a parking for a week and due to unforeseen circumstances, they want to cancel the reservation it should be canceled. They can deduct the money for day’s parking was used and the remaining amount should be returned.
EXCEPTIONAL customer service!!!
I reserved a spot ahead of time during a girls trip in Nashville. The day of the trip, my car battery died before I got to the parking spot and I had to use my husband’s car. But I forgot to change the license plate that was associated with the reservation!! :( So I got a $40 parking fee after the first day. As soon as I realized I called spot hero and got it updated to the new license plate. Then I asked if I could get help waiving the parking violation because the (partner) company still got their money, it was just with a different car. They tried their best to get it removed, but ultimately the partner company wouldn’t do it for them. So instead, Spot Hero refunded my money for my parking reservation so I could use that to pay the parking violation :’) I’m extremely pleased with their help during this whole process and will be telling everyone to use Spot Hero for affordable parking and great customer service!!

Great Parking App
Great App and easy to use. It shows parking lots at different prices, making it easy to compare options. I also love the future that tells you whether your vehicle will fit in parking area. We have a GMC 2500 and it lets us know in advance which lot will accommodate our truck. So helpful!
Left us stuck and frustrated
I had high hopes for this app and made two reservations for two different places at two different times in a congested area of the city. We got into the first one, but it wouldn’t recognize the code we needed to leave. The gate was down and the system wouldn’t work and so we had to pay separately and got gouged!! We tried again at the second place and it had no place to scan. So again, we had pay a premium second payment to park. The whole experience just about ruined our evening. I am so disgusted with this app and the implementation on the ground. It’s a nice idea that for us was a royal failure. And we are not Luddites.

Perfect parking experience
The attendance were so pleasant and helpful. They were efficient, speedy, and friendly location was convenient for downtown Crossing and theater district and price was great.
