The other negative ratings, some 7 years old, obviously still apply. While the app has no actual functionality, it somehow manages to crash within the first minute of use.
It should be removed from the App Store. It feels like a placeholder that was long forgotten by its creators.

Doesn't work
Crashes before opens. Big surprise. Toll authority would make less money if they budgeted enough money for a working app.
Needs a better system.
No alerts to inform you that your balance getting to point where they will debiting your account where as if they would alert you, you could add funds yourself.
Shameful waste of the money we spend on tolls
With the billions they collect from us it is not unreasonable to expect them to have an app where we can manage vehicles and toll tags. I despise this toll organization
Go download the EZ TAG app from HCTRA
The new EZ TAG app from HCTRA allows you to login with your EZ TAG credentials and monitor all your vehicles and transactions on the app. Search for EZ TAG on App Store and download that app.

Kind of dumb to have an app where you can’t access your account. What’s the point? If 0 stars were available that’s what you would get....Dummies
Frequent User
As an avid toll user, I’ve always been troubled with the apps earlier versions and the lack of functionality and intuitive user experience. I’m not sure what’s changed operationally at HCTRA but this all functions so much more efficiently now I had to write a review about it. Kudos!
Perfectly and amazingly USELESS!
I downloaded this hoping to manage my account & look at routes and costs. I don’t know why they would even bother to make this garbage.

There’s literally a couple of pictures with their logo and the link to their website. Absolutely no use, and a waste of time to loyal customers.

Useless app. Don’t download.
The single most useful page in the app, MyEZTag / MyAccount, isn’t implemented yet. It just links to the HCTRA web site. What’s the point of this app otherwise? The app is an embarrassment.

The app is pointless. It should have been an option after the mobile feature is added. It gives a link to the website. . We pay enough money to have a better app than this.
What's the point?
There is absolutely no functionality in this"app"; if you can call it that. I have never written a review about anything , but this is so bad I just had too. Account management says coming soon, but it was last updated over a year ago. Why would Apple even add this to the store? HCTRA, just remove the app and safe yourself the embarrassment and your customers the frustration.

Doesn't do ANYTHING it says it would do online. And I couldn't set up an account online either because the tech people provided for state entry, but not for the license # from that state. Don't try calling either -- 20-30 minute wait. Houston should be embarrassed by this crappy product. I'm just trying to pay for a lousy toll after I got routed onto a tollway by accident

There's nothing there
This app gives quick access to emergency numbers and construction information, but the "My Account" tab only contans a link to the web page, and doesn't give any information. It claims an update is "coming soon," which is clearly false as the app hasn't been updated in a year. You're better off simply bookmarking the HCTRA website.

Pointless
This app, just like the website, needs to support iOS (iPhones, iPads, etc.). It's pretty useless if you exclude an entire community of customers if your app and website doesn't support their devices. Initially I was very excited to download the app, buuuuut was very disappointed to see the same issues with accessing ANY type of information. Honestly, NO STARS!!!
