Additional charges
Signed up for 1 month and was charged an additional £20 for no reason or with no explanation. Have messaged support asking for full refund as the content doesn’t justify the cost and I don’t like the lack of transparency

They billed me twice for $89 when I signed up and there is no way to contact them to get my money back. Do not get this app
They got rid of quizzes
They got rid of quizzes for no reason and the percentage of readers you’ve read more than and your book summary.

Technically free app, but once you download you can’t do anything for free. Might be a cool app, but I wish they were honest if it’s free or not

I’d tried to cancel my subscription as I was not using the app as much and was still being charged so I contacted support and spoke with Zore. So turned out I hadn’t actually cancelled it correctly so Zore managed to find my account and cancelled it swiftly for me. Thanks Zore

The summaries themselves are pretty good. Everything else is horrible. They have added in all these features that make the app super messy and inconvenient. For example, when I finish a summary, instead of the next book being a book I saved into my library, the app recommends a completely random book. And there is no setting to change this. Also, over the past couple years, the home screen has become an absolute mess. There is even an AI chatbot thing on the front page labeled as “Seveet chat: A safe place to ask anything” like what are we doing? This is a book summary app, not BetterHelp. It’s really annoying that these features, and the recommended book summaries, are forced down your throat with 0 settings that allow you to adjust any of this to your liking. Really disappointing. And I’ve messaged with support many times over the years and they refuse to add any customization settings.
