BEWARE: No refund policy for website purchasers
I will no longer support this company that will not hear its customers. They grab you with Instagram ads to purchase from their website instead of the Apple Store.
So I followed their ad to start my account in their website. I paid the $20 for 3 months offer.
I used the app for a month. Through the app I couldn’t find easily how to cancel my subscription. They only gave me a way to renew. So I ignored it.
Then I see a charge for $50 for headway. The next day I write to headway saying that I haven’t used the app in months and I didn’t want to renew. Please cancel and refund me $50.
They refuse. Saying it’s their policy that I have to cancel 24 hours before renewal. I ask them to go beyond their policy in my case and they can immediately cut off my access to all materials.
They refuse again stating that because I purchased through the website they don’t have to refund me. Wow. I told them they lost a headway subscriber for life.
I would have most likely paused the membership or renewed it later when I wanted to binge it again. But because of this attitude of disregard for customers I’m never supporting them.
