About
I built HealthPlus because I wanted a clearer way to understand total daily energy expenditure from Apple Health without accounts, subscriptions, ads, or noise.
Apple Health records Active Energy and Resting Energy separately. HealthPlus combines them into one practical daily view so you can see what you actually expend each day, then turns that history into trends you can use.
Use HealthPlus to track daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and rolling expenditure, compare Health estimates against MacroFactor imports, and see where the two views match or drift. HealthPlus also calculates useful context like today so far, minimum calories for the day, rolling averages, recent swings, and the gap between Health and MacroFactor.
The app includes iPhone widgets and Apple Watch complications, so your key numbers can stay visible without opening the app. A local demo mode lets you explore the interface before connecting Health.
Privacy is part of the design. HealthPlus does not require an account, does not include third-party analytics or ads, and does not sell your data. Your Health and import data stays on your device.
With HealthPlus you can:
- Combine Active Energy and Resting Energy into one daily expenditure view
- Track daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and rolling calorie trends
- Compare Apple Health expenditure with MacroFactor imports
- See where estimates match, drift, or change over time
- Understand today so far against your daily minimum
- View practical insights for recent gaps, averages, and swings
- Add iPhone widgets for quick progress checks
- Use Apple Watch complications for key calorie metrics
- Explore the app with local demo data before connecting Health
- Use the app without creating an account
HealthPlus is for people who want a calm, practical view of expenditure trends: no coaching noise, no judgement, and no cloud account.

Improved - parkrun refreshes now bypass stale cached pages while preserving your recent result history. - Result checks now continue later on event days and also cover Christmas Day and New Year's Day parkruns. - Apple Wallet passes remain relevant throughout the event window and refresh more reliably. Fixed - A delayed server result can no longer replace a newer parkrun already on your device. - Strava webhooks, deauthorisation, and disconnect cleanup now handle duplicates and failures more safely.
