Recommend this app for keeping track of your heart rate. Excellent sleep tracker.
Doesn’t work
Can someone on the HeartWatch team help me? My app was great and suddenly stopped working a few days ago. Now what?
Life changer!
Essential for my health tracking! Two apps plus iwatch have changed my life and this is one of them. When you are a senior and have heart issues this makes a huge difference in understanding your body and working to improve it as best you can. If you are young and healthy, it can help you stay that way. This app and my Auto Sleep app are the reasons i got my apple watch. They are the best health trio i know.

App Changed—New Privacy Concerns
Why do you need all health app data for the app to function properly?
Holding app functionality hostage behind data mining scheme. Summary: “Just give us access to all these unrelated health details, we promise never to look at them. And we promise with this extra data the app can calculate your heart rate that you already don’t need calculations for because you gave us the raw data.”
The app refuses to function now that you’ve added full health data access requirements. Worked fine before this, you don’t need access to everything just to read my heart rate sensor.
You don’t need my birthday to calculate anything when you have access to the sensor that is on my arm! Just do the thing you were designed for and read and write only my heart rate and get your greedy hands off of my PHI.
Quoted requests from the app itself:
“Your one time build was cancelled as HealthKit access was disallowed, probably due to locking your device.
You can try again and it will resume from where you left off.” (I didn’t lock my device it showed this error immediately upon trying to look at any heart rate details in the app.)
“You don't seem to have entered your birthdate in your Apple Health app profile. This is required for heart rate calculations.” (It’s not, I get my HR through the sensor.)
