User reviews

Yep, this one works well.

I’ve tried a few apps and services, but this one is the best I’ve come across. No subscription required, just straightforward utility.

decent app but doesn’t handle daylight saving time properly

keep an eye out on your manually set wake times. after a daylight saving time change, your wake times will have to be fixed manually. still happening, for years. i reported this as a bug but support said this was working as designed 🤷🏽

Good potential, bad outcome

When the app works it’s great. Unfortunately, many times it doesn’t. I travel for work, so I am frequently in different time zones. This causes an error it seems so that when I move to a different time zone for the night no data is recorded. This is unfortunate, because when it works it’s great. Probably half the week no HRV is recorded either, which is disappointing. I’m on the latest watchOS, with an ultra 3, so it isn’t hardware.

Reliable Feedback Tool

Been using for 2+ years without complaint. The tracker interface, the data and educational info behind the metrics, all built seemingly into the app, have helped me elevate my knowledge, awareness and sleep quality.

I like AutoSleep!

I have the Pillow app too and I am trying them both side by side. I think AutoSleep is better. If I take a nap, AutoSleep captures that and Pillow does not. AutoSleep is very accurate. Also nighttime sleep is recorded quite accurately.
