No more notifications
About a month ago, I stopped getting app notifications even though none of my settings were changed. Tried reinstalling and deleting and nothing has worked.

Have used this for over a year. Set includes camera, contact sensors, leak sensors, and motion sensors. All sensors constantly go offline and you have to delete them and re-set up in the app. This is required every few weeks. Unreliable and frustrating is an understatement. Now the app doesn’t find the sensors, so all sensors are useless, and will go into the trash where this product truly belongs. Save your time, money, and sanity - avoid !

Leak sensors not updating temp and humidity
I think the software was updated and I started to have problems. Ended up replacing the bridge and I was able to get sensors online. The readings don’t ever change nor give warnings now. Multiple chats with tech support had not helped. Sensors now show online but no data updates. The camera seems to be the only thing that works. Maybe I can get my money back.

Hedge camera and sensors
It works well. Sometimes it tells me "high humidity " more than I need to know I think
HEDGE DOES NOT WORK
The people that hedge are knowingly shipping devices do not work. After several attempts to get it set up they continue to go off-line only to find out through support that this is happening to all the devices. Yet they continue to ship and sell them. I found this all extremely exasperating and I am thinking about leaving American family insurance in retribution for the time I wasted on this.
I returned it and bought simplisafe; It’s more expensive but it works flawlessly.
If you do about it I hope you have so much fun as I did. :-(. 👎

Unreliable
Camera works well but all of the other items constantly show offline. How can you trust in a product that works 35% of the time? I have water sensors, motion sensors, and contact sensors all showing offline. Ridiculous as they offer no fix when you contact them except pull out the Bluetooth adapter and reinsert…that works for a few days then back to offline. Why release product to the market if it doesn’t work?

Awful product setup process
Received a huge discount for agreeing to use this product. Wow. Its just awful. I’m the only user of the system yet I’m not the “owner” for some reason so I’m unable to even set up the camera.
This software package was clearly not written by the “A” team. I’ll have to call tech support just to have my user account upgraded to the owner account. Add that to the fact that this is an app only package, no website access is available and you have limited usability and functionality.
Once I have this actually installed I plan on watching the data it collects via wireshark. I suspect I’ll need to sandbox this “quality” product to its own wifi network and point the camera out a window. I’d bet real money that they watch / report on internet traffic in your home.
One star for now because it’s useless out of the box.

Hot water heater leak
We had a hot water heater leak at 1am in the morning the day before we went on vacation.
The leak sensor detected it right away.
I very pleased with this capability as it saved us from potentially costly mess.

Yuck!
Auto arm doesn’t recognize my wife’s location. App always shows her out of the home. Got sick and tired of dealing with it so I removed her from the app account. Now the app fails to recognize me as being at home. It shows me as out of the house and activates the arming. Today all my devices went off line...again. Customer service is no help. For the last three months they say they are working on eliminating the bugs.

Very poor set up. 2 cameras are junk and replaced Still no works
First camera has no led lights on to plug powered on. I called tech support and mailed me a new one. I got replacement and the same problem again.

Awesome For Sump Pump And Basement Drain
I have 2 cameras that watch my basement drains and sump pump. With the excellent night vision I can see if anything is leaking. Also the leak sensors will notify me of any leaks.Night vision is so good, the camera works great inside sump pump. Great value and easy to set up.
Overall works well except 2nd User Feature...
Cameras are great, motion sensor performs as advertised, door sensors also good. Leak moisture kit also accurately notices any increase in humidity. Only issue is additional users always show as away despite being in home. Tech support says they are aware and will advise when solution completed. Using with iPhone 11.

The app has problems loading.
I’ve had the system installed for about a month so far and it’s been so-so. The app doesn’t always load. It tries to open but then crashes, even after multiple attempts to start the app. If it didn’t crash so much, I would give it 5 stars.
No 5G WiFi Support
Could not connect Hedge Protect to my 5G WiFi network. The application only supports a 2.4G WiFi network. Until it’s able to support the faster connection, this system is useless.

Nice when it works, the gate way stopped working after a few months.
Refrigerator Leak
Hedge has already saved me time, money and frustration by detecting a small intermittent leak in my freezers ice machine.
The sensor let out an audible beep, send notifications to my phone and I even received a call to notify me of the water detection.

Happy User
I’ve had the app and Hedge devices for the last year. The team communication is dynamic following a triggered alarm. We were saved from a large potential loss when a leak was detected under our wash machine. Highly recommended product!
Love this...it saved me from major damage!
Everything is super easy to install yourself and I love being able to monitor from my phone. The garage door sensor is a life changer being able to check to make sure you or your kids remembered to shut the garage door. Recently the water app saved me from having major water damage! I threw in a load of laundry and walked away. About 15 minutes after doing so my phone was buzzing that I had an alertI for a possible leak. I also received a phone call alerting me of a possible leak. I went into my laundry room and sure enough, a small leak had started. I was able to shut off the machine to stop the water. Had I not been alerted and been able to take action I would have had a flooded laundry room with damage to my floor, cabinets and drywall. Thank you Hedge!

Enjoyable But Unreliable
I like using the camera, but all of my other sensors keep disconnecting after a day or two. At first it was a door sensor. Then everything would disconnect! It’s burdensome because I have to walk through the whole house reconnecting every piece individually. I’m not sure if it’s the hardware (not all of it was functional when I got it) or the app, but I wish it just worked better.

Crashes on loading
I bought the kit from American family. Thinking this would be fun to try however the app crashes on load every time.
