Never works.
There is not a pump in 100 miles that the scanner works to give you the discount. There are Multiple stations that accept this they say but none of the pumps scanners work. Truly a waste of time.
The only place I’ll go for gas
I really love this app. It saves me 25 cents per gallon EVERY TIME I fill up and I go once every week and a half to two weeks. And it’s free! It is a bit humbug to have to punch in my number since it’s so long but I’ll be happy to do that knowing I save 25 cents.
Rewards code glitch
Punching in the rewards code on the gas machine never works. I always have to go into the store to prepay for gas, and by the time I get there the cashier usually has an attitude because I’m not the only one that has to approach them about the same issue. When I was leaving after prepaying, customers are going into the store about the same issue.

This is basically useless, waste of time
Complex, redundant.
The money I saved does not come near the time I wasted trying to figure this app out. Then the staff at the station tell me that certain discounts only apply on the weekends. Ridiculous.
Please, fix the pin issue
It’s great to get 25¢ deal on purchases if it actually worked half the time. Not only does it not log me in when I put my details and pin in correct, but even when I try *changing* it, it will not go through. Just say “sorry, onlh 4 digit pins work” when I clearly put in something that was 4 digits. Really buggy, if you’re having issues, you’re better off buying from Safeway 💯💯💯

It’s a bummer I cannot login. I’ve changed my PIN so many times, and it still errors when I log into the app.

I’ve signed up used my number and then all of a sudden when I enter my number the prices don’t go down! When I use my other half’s number it works!
Got 25 cents off per gallon
I was able to get 25 cents discount without a problem. Other than getting the gas pump to read the barcode on the app however, I was able to manually enter my HELE member number from the app and get $.25 off per gallon ($4.319/gal regular gas) a pretty good deal unless it’s compared to Costco @ $4.199/gal or Sam’s Club @ 4.089/gal. However, for me HELE’s price worked out to be about the same had I used gas to drive to Costco or Sam’s to fill up it would’ve cost me what I saved in gas to get there not to mention time.

No points in account
Used my number for years. Hele lady told me to download app. Points gone. Used the same phone number to sign up but no benefits. Update or upgrade app if you solicit it
Can’t use rewards
I registered my card when i first downloaded the app and ever since then I have not gotten 25¢ off per gallon like the advertising says. And the app keeps saying I need to provide my card number but there is no where to type my card number.

I’ve been using my phone number whenever I go to Hele. But when I got the app I lost all the points and have to start at 0. This was a waste of time
