I tried to book a car a few weeks back because one of my drivers on uber suggested it to me
and I love to support black women so I gave it a try with my last dollars just getting off work and the app took my money without giving me a driver and it didn’t wait and give me another driver it just told me to rebook I tried to click the help button with no help I reached out on social media to apps insta and to the owner of the app with no response thank god someone gave me a ride home but I had to wait 6 hours because as I was leaving my shift they were starting theirs I did end up getting my money back like two days later but the moral of the story DO NOT Recommend 0 out of 5 if I could

HER Not ready…yet
I wanted to support the women owned & drivers by scheduling a ride to airport 3 days before. The day of and 15 minutes before pickup time my ride was cancelled.
The app & company still needs work. I hope it get ready by the time the World Cup events start.

Does not work
This app does not work. I am no longer able to book or pre-book. I am sent many notifications asking me to pre-book but they don’t allow confirmation.

Easy to book! Enjoyable ride & I felt extremely safe! I’ll always book HERide for myself & loved ones in Atlanta
Not available at the airport?
I’m confused why there are signs for this at the airport and no one is ever available and/or it says not available in my area (Atlanta)? Great concept, poor execution.
Pre-booking is a Joke
Why give the option to pre-book a scheduled pick up if you aren’t able to guarantee an available ride. If the availability varies then you shouldn’t give that option. My ride was cancelled without notice. Stranded at airport. Awful.

Ride was claimed, but no driver showed up. App is confusing. After no show, a second past pickup and no show, the audacity to ask to rate service.customer service isn’t available for immediate help. App makes it hard to request refund. Ended up using Lyft. Never again using HERide!

I love this concept and was excited to see the HERide signs at the ATL airport. I did some research and read the reviews but decided to still take my chances and schedule a ride. Like many other people here, my ride was canceled at the very last minute (literally, right when I should have been picked up). You don’t get notifications either; I couldn’t even use their “Help Center” feature (kept getting an error message). This company is getting great press but sadly, the app doesn’t work.

Similar issue as other reviews
Love the idea of this app — I think it’s so needed in this era. However, it’d be helpful to have more communication (push notifications or even just updates on status of ride). I booked a ride three hours in advance just for it to cancel at the exact time of pick-up. I understand there may be a shortage of drivers, but I’m giving three stars because of the lack of communication. Makes a huge difference in user and customer experience.

Inconsistent messaging
For an app that is meant to be a safe space for women, Jill Gates chooses to promote this app using the opposite tactics. While it would be nice to have an option that is safer for women, leadership should act with the same level of integrity the app promotes
Not Operational
I don’t think this app is operating anymore. I tried to use it today, and it said there were no drivers in my area yet, but I live in Fulton County - Atlanta, GA. Disappointed.
Terrible
Requested a ride 24 hours in advance , 2 people accepted, but once the time came around for pickup no one showed up and no one contacted me on why. Great idea for a app but putting bad taste by no shows

Excellent service. New to the app and wanted to support an all women business. Felt very safe and relaxed.
Never any drivers, useless app
Good idea, horrific execution. They’re been around for years now, no excuse as to why they don’t have drivers available in a city like Atlanta! Just use Lyft, these people don’t care about their business.

Have very positive feedback except for one time at the airport and I could not get a ride, claiming no drive is available. I certainly was very disappointed, but I will not give up on you. I have spread the word to everybody I know and I will definitely use you again

Great concept, zero execution
There are never drivers available and don’t even try to book a future ride. Probably should’ve worked out the logistics before making a broken promise and leaving people in a bad situation. Will not recommend when you have reputable companies like Lyft now offering the same service. Don’t waste your time.
