Great app, easy to use!
My hiking group was being hugely gouged for money on a different social app and we just had to leave. Luckily, one of our members discovered Heylo. Since getting set up in it, we have found it works smoothly, makes using it easy, and it is not glitchy like the other one was. Very simple and easy to use. We love Heylo!

Buggy
Installed the app on iPhone and it asked for access to add events to calendar, so I granted add access only but it didn’t accept that. Then granted full access to calendar and it didn’t even add the event to the calendar. Bad first experience
New and now True to It
Started using this app once I move to a new state. And joined a volunteer/welcoming community. It’s a very clean and clear access accessible and links share very well to add more people to it. I love the ability to have a subgroup a sub conversation/chat
No Customer Support Available
I'm sure it's a great app, if only I could access its features. I've spent the past week putting in Customer Service requests through the Help Chat and several e-mails, but it's all crickets 🦗

Since the update, my notifications aren’t working. I checked my phone settings and they’re all on but nothing from Heylo
A great platform
Hello is a very helpful platform for groups and clubs to stay connected and to manage gatherings and events. It’s a wonderful tool for helping members stay connected. It’s not perfect, but it’s darn close. I’m sure it will evolve overtime. If you are already a user or if you become one, I strongly encourage you to share your suggestions for how they can improve the platform. It’s nice that they ask for suggestions.

We use Heylo for everything. We looked at so many apps but this is the only that truly builds community for our groups.

Creating Community
I can’t say enough good about this app. It’s become our only hub for communication. We wanted to create a community and not just a club during our rebuild after COVID. Heylo has been a “huge” part in connecting our athletes to make that a reality. Also, customer support has been top-notch.
