Why is creating a login so challenging on this app?
I have now tried 4 times to create a login for this app and it continues to fail to authenticate. It should not be this hard.
App and web site don’t sync
I added all the exhibits I wanted to visit to my HIMSS account at the event web site, but then had to re-add them to the app. I’m logged into both platforms with the same username. I have no confidence that the app will function, given that my web data seems to be missing from the app.
Map doesn’t work
Brings up himss 2018 then crashes. Not good.
Terrible UI
Getting to the presentations is very difficult. Takes long without the web version. And no notification when the presentations are uploaded.
HIMSS APP
This may be a fairly decent app, however the maps don’t work well—I realize it could be WiFi issue, but there are other issues, takes you to maps when you click on different things.
FM
Looks great, a few too many options but I can find what I need pretty. Great way to network and find speakers, sessions, and add them to my itinerary in this fast paced environment.
Virtually useless
Login gives error, but actually did login. Crashes every 3 seconds even after reinstall. Virtually useless because of the crashing.
Needs improvement
App was difficult to find concurrent session. Had to carry the paper program to find sessions. Need to have a convention map included

Relied on the app to schedule and plan my himss visit - BUT its crashing constantly.
I cant even select all the session as it crashes in the meantime. Even just checking a room number doesn't work - crashing.

You can not even make it work.. For a tech conference, had higher expectations
I was trying to create my schedule but the app was not working more than 3 sec. I tried a few times and deleted the app but no solution. I expect a tech conference to have a proper app please.

2 weeks from HIMSS ‘19 & the app crashes constantly
It’s very frustrating that the annual conference app, which is supposed to synchronize between my schedule and exhibitor favorite list from my online profile, simply does not sync. Furthermore, while waiting for it to sync, the app just crashes. Always. iPad or iPhone.
Can find anything!
Would have been nice to filter on track and have only those presentations show up.
Crashing Consistently
In the past I have had problems with this Conference app, I tried again this year and it keeps crashing which is extremely disappointing as I try to set up my agenda. I expect better.
Horrible
Sorry, all, but you’d think an organization as big as HIMSS could come up with a functional mobile app. To start with it won’t even let me log in with my HIMSS membership or registration information. As I search through the app it keeps crashing out and I have to restart it. I have no idea if the sessions I select will sync between devices but I’m guessing they won’t since it doesn’t know who I am.

Useless, crashes constantly on windows 8
Crashes during login so this is a non-starter for me. Tried to reinstall as well and accepted all default answers. This reduces my ability to gain access to slide presentations.
Crashes constantly and is completely unusable
Crashes constantly! Throughout the day and night. All phone apps closed. Unusable and not well organized compared to other event apps. Shocking and disappointing
Great info, just can’t login
I can’t login, even though I double checked my login via the web. It’s still very useful as there’s a ton of information available on the schedule and you can favorite items then sort by your favorites to easily make your own itinerary. 🙂
