Bad driver experience
Dont usually do this but I have to, had the most unpleasant car ride of my life in hitch, driver stopped 3 times, the eta was wrong for around 2 hours and it wasn’t traffic, never again

Got here early to drop off my niece and the driver canceled and there isn’t a customer service number, and the time keeps getting pushed back after I drove an hour to get here already. Slow communication and bad service all around.

Barely pays 10 an hour
After gas an expenses you make like 10$ an hour. They have the Gaul to want to suspend you for canceling after just a few minutes. Get real. Posts by customers clearly show it’s too Cheap for them. No respect for drivers

What an amazing service. $50 some odd dollars for a ride from Houston to Austin. I cost me, to take a 20min uber from my house to work in Houston, around $47!

Hitch has been a good way of earning and paying bills. I recommend the app to anyone looking to earn and travel in comfort and style.
App is a scam, don’t do it
Has none of the safety nets, or support infrastructure of major rideshares so you’re really rolling the dice with them. Whether the driver shows up or not they’re taking your money and you’re going to have to fight to get it back. For drivers, it’s even worse. They charge way below market then they stiff you on a portion of your payout for no reason so whatever they promised you’d make, expect ten dollars less. Regardless if you were on time and rated five stars by the rider. Customer support will be no help and ignores.

Bad Experience
Very disappointing experience. I paid for door pickup but the driver never came to my location and sent me somewhere else. I waited about 40 minutes and even had to take two Ubers just to reach him.
We left late and made a long stop, which made me arrive late to my work. Customer support only gave me a $3 credit and said I don’t qualify for compensation because the ride was delayed for under an hour, which ignores everything that happened.
Not reliable and not worth the price. I won’t be using this again.

I just installed this app to work as a driver, but I'm not convinced by the payment method being offered. How is it possible that they want to pay a driver 140 for a trip from Austin to Houston, yet ask you to add a return trip at no additional cost?

Avoid like the plague
Ordered a ride a week in advance. Come time for the trip, NO DRIVER. No phone support.
Assigning the ride was messy
I had to wait for 1.5-2 hours after my pick up time. The driver was assigned 5-10 min before the scheduled time. Hitch needs to fix their ride scheduling appropriately.
Horrible service - do not use
This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a rideshare service. The overall reliability and service quality were very poor, and it did not meet basic expectations. The experience was frustrating from start to finish, and I would not recommend using this app.
