Shortcuts are broken
Latest update broke all my shortcuts and the replacement actions they want me to use just open the app and don’t do the thing they’re supposed to do. I updated everything and it’s still broken. It’s hard to rely on home assistant when they keep breaking things.
No longer works properly!
They seem to have messed up this App with recent updates. No longer connects to my Home Assistant Server . Every time I want to use the App, I now have to delete the server configuration and reinstall it.
No support
Has a bug that broke my companion app sensors which broke my automations. Only way to submit bug report is GitHub and I submitted one a month ago. Other people responded to the report saying they had the same issue but the developer has not commented on it at all.
Before this everything worked flawlessly and the app was amazing.

Password Reset Nightmare - Don’t Bother
After months of running home assistant and accessing it from both my iPhone and Mac with no issues, the username and password randomly stopped working. The steps required to simply reset a password are onerous and completely unnecessary. After fighting with it, I gave up and simply deleted the server software, and the app from my iPhone. This is a consumer level product with ancient linux command line solutions that require physical access to the server, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. There is no excuse for this. None.

Love the app! Been using it for about 5 years and there are hiccups along the way, but they are typically fixed within a reasonable amount of time.

This might be the best app I’ve ever used. Of course it’s the program that’s the real mvp, but the app is very good too. I have complete control of my home and can automate things in a way that’s only limited by imagination. Thank you for making this possible

Great app with a crucial flaw
Great app (which basically hosts the web UI of HA), but it has an Achilles heal: if you start the ssh web terminal from the Home Assistant Supervisor, you have no way to exit it again. The left-arrow pointing to the “Advanced SSH & Web Terminal” add-on page doesn’t do anything. Seems you are in a tmux session, but killing it from a different session doesn’t undo the fact that the app thinks you should be in the ssh terminal and will return you to the new spawned tmux session.
Badly explained, but tl;dr: don’t enter the ssh web terminal!
Update: odd experience when I migrated HA onto new computer: my iphone connected immediately, my ipad refuses to connect — tried removing the server from the app, reinstall the app, deleting the access token for my ipad, no cigar. Oddly safari behaves the same, so clearly not an issue specific to the app.

What did you DO?????
I have had this app for many years. And it’s on several devices. Some of which are the primary control interface for entire areas of my house, like the guest room. But something has changed and now NONE of my devices will connect to my HA instance. I literally have NO OTHER WAY to control large sections of my house besides logging onto the computer that runs the server. Whatever you did, UN-DO IT!

Sehr coole Plattform, App wird immer schlechter
Home Assistant ist an sich eine sehr coole Plattform. Extrem mächtig, sehr schöne, hoch konfigurierbare UI, sehr viele Integrationen, eine große Community. Eine der - wenn nicht DIE - Smart Home Plattform überhaupt. Läuft im Großen und Ganzen sehr stabil. I like! Die App wird leider immer schlechter. Die Navigation buggt häufig und vor allem die Kamera Card(s) sind ein Horror; in der gesamten Plattform, aber vor allem auch in der App. Die App hängt sich wegen der Kamera Integration immer wieder auf und muss neu gestartet werden. Wenn man ein iPad als Dashboard nutzt (Kiosk Mode) buggt das ebenfalls ständig. Völlig unverständlich warum, meiner Meinung nach, so ein zentrales Feature so schlecht umgesetzt ist und bleibt. Statt immer neue, fancy UI Features zu releasen, wäre ein Hardening des technischen Unterbaus wünschenswert.

Некорректное поведение виджета
Виджет лампочки не обновляет статус в шторке. Даже, если лампочка включена он отображен как выключенный, но стоит включить как статус виджета меняется
