Neat concept but poor implementation
Poor reliability, poor recording performance
This thing works well.
I bought this item for my mother, once her kitchen caught fire and regular smoke alarm failed to trigger, so I bought this as backup. This smoke detector warns me regardless of where I’m in the world then I could reach out to her helper etc!
it was great not no more
i did a factory reset on the doorbell and now it wont connect to the app but it does connect to apple home app and it says can’t connect to netatmo server so its a 1 star vote from me, i am disappointed
Awful support
I have been a loyal Netatmo customer for many years and have invested heavily in their ecosystem, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
A recent setup issue — which ultimately turned out to be a fault on Netatmo’s side — wasted several days of my time trying to configure a system that simply could not work correctly. What is most frustrating is that it took Netatmo nearly three weeks to identify and resolve the problem, during which communication was poor and reassurance minimal.
At no point was there a meaningful apology or clear ownership of the disruption caused to customers. For a premium smart-home brand, the level of customer support and transparency fell far below expectations.
While the products themselves can be good when working properly, the support experience has seriously damaged my confidence in the company. Existing customers deserve far better communication, faster escalation of known issues, and proper accountability when failures occur.

Not worth any stars, this device is totally useless for security, fails to pick up almost anything happening on driveway or outside front door, does occasionally pick up random passer by. Thumbnails and videos no longer work since update. Almost unusable even as a doorbell as pick up or cancellation on phone doesn’t work reliably.
