This app is very helpful but the people are very weird
Amazing business
Very bad company

Know what you want & how to move.
From a business perspective this makes sense.
If you’re a hustler chances are the algo will see you as a threat. And like any perceived threat you will be taken out.
Therefore I think there can be a bridge where a long term relationship can exist however I’m still thinking about what that could look like as everyone does not have integrity.
Nevertheless, I believe a lot of the people having a hard time may be experiencing it because of the way the algo is set up.
I think this company is fairly new however they are steady and growing, I think there is a possibility for this to change over time.
Unfortunately I was not valued or respected and had to walk away.
I hope they are able to change and make accommodations to sustain their best within their ecosystem
Was this app vibe coded with AI???
Of course, obviously I know that background checks take time (and clearly this is an automated email message because that’s not at all the problem).
You are saying “I’m not able to accept jobs” until the background check goes through —except that’s the problem: your app DID allow me to 1) see available jobs, 2) claim an available job, 3) sent me to a landing page saying “Congratulations on claiming [jobs] at [time & date] more details will be sent shortly” (see attached screenshot)
Your app should not allow people to accept requests if their profile is not approved yet. This was incredibly confusing and could’ve been easily avoided by designing the app in such a way that the dashboard is not usable if my account is not approved. I “claimed” a job, received notice that I claimed it, and then received no further updates or notice on it at all.
Across the app, there are different mentions for estimated time it would take for the background check to be completed. On the my approved request page, it was saying “in 30 minutes.” In my professional experience, there’s never been a background check that’s taken only 30 minutes, and certainly not with a company whose customer support has a more than ideal response time. Regardless, I’m unsure of why this is the case if the other places in the app say around 5 days and you’re now telling me 2 weeks. Consistency in information given is key if you don’t want to lose customers and contracted workers.
Additionally, I was given notice that if I didn’t submit pictures of cleaning supplies within 3 days my account would be deactivated. I was given that notice exactly ONCE in small font at the very bottom of the page, when setting up my account. And then once I left that page, I received no notice of this “to do” action. There was nowhere on my profile that notified me that I still had to complete this action, and nowhere where I could submit these photos to update my account (which would make the most amount of sense), it wasn't until I went to the contact support page that suddenly there was a random pop up to finally submit these photos to quality control. What? Why wouldn’t this just be a little notice on my “account” profile page where I could upload the photos? Who designed this app?
Respectfully, this app seems “vibe-coded” with AI and it’s not functional or intuitive for human use in the slightest… I highly encourage you to contact your app developers and see if you can redesign a few functions of this app, as they are incredibly anti-ergonomic.
It’s been two weeks and I haven’t received my payment; I send messages, but no one answers. I don’t

Homeaglow doesn’t value its workers.
The moment you try to get paid for your worth Homeaglow will sabotage you in every way possible for example, they’ll remove your regulars, send you leads only on times you’re already scheduled, just to mention a few etc. all this despite my consistency and upholding a 4.9 average.
Furthermore, dealing with Emma from the support team is horrid, my best experiences were with Carlo, and some others on the team. honestly anyone who wasn’t Emma. I’m not sure if it’s an ai support team but either way, working with Emma was difficult because no matter how clear and straight forward she just didn’t understand until like the 3rd time I clarified something. She’s also very antagonistic.
Tbh I wanted to grow here, but it’s not possible without the support and the team misperceiving and intentionally misunderstanding me all the time and in turn also sabotaging me.
I hope they can improve.
