Thankful for the work but I have suggestions for the app
Clients should submit pics of their homes before the date of the job as many of these clients select “standard clean” but the past two homes have needed a DEEP clean as they were in rough shape.
Scam if you’re cleaner
Every cleaner has to lose five dollars an hour as a discount to the clients. Basically, you’ll be working to put the money that you made back into your gas tank. You have to pay $15 to reactivate your account if your account is deactivated it it’s easy to be deactivated so if you don’t claim the jobs that they offered that counts against your keep rate, it’s not claim a job and Keep the job that factors. You’re expected to take every job that they offer. The app doesn’t let you change your availability. You have to go online. I did not know this. Customer service is not available 24 seven I had a question that needed answered immediately. I got a response the next day. Overall, it’s a waste of time with the cost of gas. It’s a waste of time. With the expectations it’s a waste of time with the way they can just penalize you for every little thing. Waste of time you’ll make more cleaning your own house by saving gas.

Bad app needs to fix their policies and get better support
I would not recommend working for Homeaglow. Customers can cancel the same day, leaving cleaners without the job or expected income. Yet when a cleaner has a legitimate emergency, the company may question your proof—in my case, they claimed mine was a “fake internet picture,” which was not true. Cleaners are classified as 1099 independent contractors, but in my experience, Homeaglow treats cleaners more like W-2 employees when it comes to rules, penalties, and expectations. The policies feel very one-sided and unfair to cleaners.

They need someone who you can reach 24/7 and someone you can call at all times because some customers really be lying and stealing our money or giving us bad reviews bcuz we didn’t wanna do things that’s not in the description

This app is out to date based on cancellations. If a customer cancels it never updates on the cleaner end. We prepare, drive (in most cases up to 25-30 miles) only to be told upon arrival that the customer canceled

Jobs easy getting
Getting jobs are easy when you first start out it’s not as much but it’s very helpful. Reason why I put three stars there needs to be a lot more support for the workers. That way when some customers try to scam the workers out of money for not being honest about the cleaning job there’s better support for them. I highly recommend noting any smells any animal urine smells if bathtubs or anything is not draining correctly and not only should you note that down to customer support, you should also video record everything, counters and literally everything. Do that before you start the job and after you finished. Then any issues come up you can send customer support the video as well as the customer. Do not rate the customer yet until all transactions are final and they’ve seen the place. I’ve had it where customers see the place dirty it up again and then give a bad review wanting a refund after they made it a mess and after they knew, I could not do plumbing work because I’m a cleaner not a plumber, not electrician, etc.. Jackie meant everything that way you avoid this headache. The first two jobs I got was an extreme headache and really turned me off from doing any of these apps so I’m hoping the other jobs are gonna be easy breezy because what I went through so far very offputting. Cover yourself document everything video record document everything no matter how irritated a person gets on you commenting every little thing that way they’re not trying to get a refund saying you broke it. You didn’t clean it, etc..
I live in New York York State they want me to give a colored ID photo of my license. That makes no sense why they want me to forge the New York State ID and color when the IDs are black and white. Now I don’t forge a copy of my ID. I’m not getting paid for the work that I did.

Too many issues with app completely disabled, even after re-downloading it

very disappointed
i downloaded this app because i was recommended by a friend. the app let me sign in, create an account, set up notifications and location settings…. and then froze. it won’t let me progress, sign the agreement, or backtrack, the entire app is frozen. i’ve deleted and redownloaded it twice, logged in and out, to no avail. i simply cannot sign the agreement and start working with the app.

I downloaded this app excited to try it out. I can’t even get past the log in. It just sits on a page saying “please review and sign the updated Platform Access Agreement.” It won’t load, it won’t let me press continue. It’s been like this for days. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Your ads are very misleading as you advertise and very nice app that you can use to clean. But so far I haven’t been able to use it at all! Please do better.

Extremely Low Pay for Cleaners
The pay for cleaners is extremely low. I completed two cleaning jobs that took me two hours each, and I was paid only $33 for one and $28 for the other. After transportation, cleaning supplies, and the physical work involved, it is simply not worth it. They also charge an additional $4 fee if you want to receive your money quickly. Cleaners deserve fair and transparent pay for their time and hard work.

Do not user as a cleaner
Well I started this app been with this app for three weeks let me tell you if you are a cleaner do not use this app clients don’t be home if you have a booking they will not pay you the support is a joke they take two days to get back with you sometimes 4 days you can not cancel or it affects your account so the clients will have to cancel then the clients lie just to have a bad review on your account and once you get reported homeaglow automatically suspended your account or deactivated and it takes three days for support to get back with you when you wonder why or what you did as a cleaner will never use this service again they are horrible and the clients are nasty as well
