Only works on one paired generator
I haven't been able pair one of the 2 Honda 2200 generators. Repeated attempts. The generator is not showing up on Bluetooth.
Honda 2200i
Great machine. We rely on it to charge our boat batteries and run our water maker. My only complaint is replacing the pull chord every few months.
Won’t Pair
Another shoddy app; it won’t pair with the generator. The grammar errors must be indicative of the software quality.
Could be five stars, but…
When this actually works, it’s great! I love being able to see how much power different things around the home use. Now, if Honda would just use decent Bluetooth hardware. I’ve had multiple Honda blue tooth equipped generators, and every time, the initial pairing is difficult, Bluetooth will just decide to stop working, etc…

I just purchased a brand new Honda EU2200i generator. But when I tried to use pair it through Bluetooth it just wouldn’t work

Will not Connect
I have restarted my Generator 6 times and it will NOT connect. I am very disappointed.
The next best thing in sliced bread
This is probably the coolest app I’ve ever used anybody could use it. It is so informative and helpful while trying to figure out what you can and cannot run in your house. I’m definitely gonna have my wife download the same app in case I’m not around when we lose power.

This generator was purchased in 2023! I used it once, and then stored it! Now in January of 2026, I started the generator again, thinking I would need a few pulls to get it going! To my great surprise, it started on the first pull! The gasoline, which was still inside the tank, was also from 2023 (it did contain stabilizer fluid). The generator runs just fine and I couldn’t be happier! Way to go Honda for making quality products!

My generator continues to come up as a EM5000SX however it’s a EM6500SX.
This causes the watts meter on the app to not read over 5000.

Convenient and Reliable
We love our grid on Kauai and it is very reassuring to have a reliable generator. I also like the convenience of being able to start it via Bluetooth from my phone and also check on stats. We had previously purchased two separate generators from Costco. They were well worth the money because they were a lot less expensive, but I feel safer for my family having a really good solid Honda generator now.

How Convenient
What a great app this is to be able to monitor your Generator’s performance. See the fuel tank status, oil change, all at a glance. Very helpful and easy to use.
Bluetooth / program failure
Program failure and generator Bluetooth couldn’t be seen. Tried to get the app to work & it wouldn’t. Had to delete program and start all over with fresh program to pair and become operational.
Kudos
Had big problems with 7000 with the harness system and computer. Honda is true to their word with an exceptional warranty that they honor and now my 7000 is working awesomely well. Thank you Honda!
