Garbage
Junk
Yeah, does little to nothing for Bluetooth connectivity for your music. I used to be able to turn up the chlorine system, but that doesn’t work. I used to be able to turn on the lights, but that doesn’t work. Pretty much nothing works.
Super minimal for the price
App doesn’t work
Doesn’t work
I wish companies like this would stick to what they do best. They have no idea what they are doing with tech / app integration. Embarrassing. Whoever was in charge of this rollout should be fired.
Horrible
App has never worked since installation
Garbage App
From bad to worse!
Update 18/5/25
No answer from HotSprings! The previous app worked perfectly most of the time. This one works some of the time, very frustrating. Why is this not being addressed please?
Bare Bones product at luxury prices
Edit: Demoted to 1-star. The app completely logged me out and I can’t get back in. There is also zero info about the occasional alerts I get and what they mean to the lay person. This component really makes this nice, high priced hot tub feel like an off brand. “Get your Hawt Spreengs premium hot tub”.
Does not stay connected
Bad
Also the network adapter is a joke, keeps getting disconnected, what a joke manufacturer, they couldn’t come ip with their own solution, had to rely on 3rd party adapters…Set the temp and the tub becomes inaccessible!!!
Suggestion for improvement: scheduling for water heat up. We want to be able to only heat up the water during the days, when the energy is free!
$800 and functionality is bare minimum
• No HomeKit compatibility (or any smart home system connectivity whatsoever.)
• No ability to time any kind of event (don’t heat between 4-9pm)
• no way to start a clean cycle
• no way to program the lighting moods, or change lighting color.
• no dashboard to monitor things like when it’s time to replace the water, or clean filters.
• no calculator, pre-populated with your model’s gallon capacity, to help you properly dose chemicals based on usage activity
Hot Springs really needs to reconsider the software developer they chose to partner with to get this done. Why spend $800 if I can’t even automate such a basic thing - like turn off heating for 5 hours, every day, during peak energy rates?!?
