I’ve had a very positive experience with Houston Federal Credit Union. The staff has consistently been professional, helpful, and easy to work with, and I appreciate the level of personal service they provide. Banking has been straightforward and reliable, and whenever I’ve needed assistance, I’ve been treated with respect and professionalism. Very happy to be a member and would definitely recommend HFCU.

No longer works in the iPad I am typing this on
App is great, been using it for years, now I can’t use it on this iPad because it cannot run IOS18. The iPad is not the latest but is about 5 years old.
The version history only says “performance and bug fixes” in the history so that’s useless.

Updated app request
I am a man of my word, I had originally given a 1 star over the forced phone code password update and said I’d change it back to a 5 star if they updated it back or gave an option instead of forcing it! And they recently updated it to be able to use a personal/individual code for the app itself again, which was my only real problem I had with it but it was a big problem, but true to my word this app is great and listened to some feedback (possibly, idk if I had any real impact on it but I’m glad it changed back!) so 5 stars!

App code
So I find it so dumb that in the most recent update they forcefully changed the login pin to be your phone code. There’s plenty of different reasons to have two separate codes for access to your phone and then access to your BANK ACCOUNT… and now I can’t even just easily log out and in without it giving me a huge hassle of two factor options that still don’t make sense since if I used any of those choices they would already have access to my phone or even the Authenticator apps if I don’t have two phones which almost no one does! I used to love this app, but now I don’t feel like it’s as safe and convenient with just because of a simple pin, now I have to sacrifice safety for convenience. I’d happily change it to 5 star if we got the option back.

Why can’t I print my statement from my HFCU phone app?
Ridiculous that I can’t print or email a hard copy of my bank statements from my HFCU app. I’ve been resorting to reconciling my quicken by zooming in on the statement from my phone.
